It was worth the effort to travel from Shenzhen to Quanzhou. The whole play lasted two and a half hours, with constant jokes, intertwined fates of the characters, and a smooth and uninterrupted plot. It was a wonderful play that made people applaud.
The old masters are old and no longer in their prime, but their performances are still superb. However, time is fleeting, so everyone should watch and cherish it.

The scenery was truly beautiful, but climbing the mountain was exhausting. At an altitude of 600 meters, the actual distance I covered using my iWatch was 4 kilometers! 🤣 The closer you get to the summit, the steeper the path becomes, and there aren&#39;t many rest areas, so you need to keep going. If you&#39;re not very athletic, I recommend taking the shuttle bus at the entrance directly to the summit. It runs every half hour, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. The ticket price is also reasonable at 15 yuan per person.

- East Pagoda (Zhenguo Pagoda)

- Initial Construction: During the Xiantong era of the Tang Dynasty (860-874 AD), it was originally a five-story wooden pagoda.

- Reconstruction: After several periods of prosperity and decline, it was damaged and rebuilt as a brick pagoda.

I watched a documentary about it; making a good puppet requires many steps and the craftsman needs to practice day and night to operate the puppet and unlock its skills. I felt the charm and perseverance of Chinese culture. I hope that Chinese intangible cultural heritage will continue to improve, and that cultural creators will gradually rise from increasingly difficult circumstances. A great place for families, with three shows. The puppeteers performed with great care, and the children were engrossed. At the end, the puppeteers gave a teaching session, and the audience could try to control the puppets. The rooftop view at night is beautiful, and you can check it out.
