The 2023 GRZZLY RUN is an exhilarating, must-attend event for thrill-seekers of all ages. Taking place on September 23rd in the beautiful city of Big Stone Gap, this 3+ mile obstacle race will push your limits and leave you with an adrenaline rush like no other. The race will conclude with the daring POLAR ICE PLUNGE, adding an extra level of excitement to the experience.

Participants will start their journey at the Big Stone Gap Visitors Center and embark on a challenging course around the Greenbelt. Before the race begins, a warm-up session at Bullitt Park will help prepare you for what's to come. Expect to encounter various obstacles along the way, including wall climbs, pipe crawls, and the infamous mud wall climb from previous years. This time, it's back with a friend, promising an even more intense challenge.

As you navigate your way through Frog Level, your strength and agility will be put to the test. Traverse rivers, woods, and downtown BSG as you overcome each obstacle that awaits you. And just when you think you're almost done, brace yourself for the surprise appearance of the Polar Bear, adding an extra wow factor to the event.

To ensure your participation and receive a commemorative t-shirt, be sure to register by September 8th. Online sales will end on September 22nd, with race day sign-ups available for $40. Please note that preferred starting waves are limited to 25 participants per wave, so don't wait too long to secure your spot.
