The Ashikaga Flower Park is the only place in Japan that has been selected as one of the world's top ten fantasy tourist attractions by CNN. From October 18, 2024 (Friday) to February 16, 2025 (Sunday), it will host the "Flower Fantasy Garden of Lights" light show.
Since 2017, it has been ranked first in Japan for six consecutive years in the light show ranking selected by night view connoisseurs. It was recognized as a Japanese Night View Heritage in 2011 and one of the three major light shows in Kanto in 2012.
In the park, there is a "Miraculous Wisteria" decorated with colored lights that covers the entire wisteria trellis, as if real wisteria flowers are swaying in the wind. The popular illumination "Flower Castle" launched in 2017 has also been redesigned and exhibited. In addition, there are 5,000 "roses of light" and "water lilies of light" that change in four colors in the park. There is also a Santa Claus sleigh decorated with lights that flies across the sky, which is loved by children, and the aurora is visible in the sky.
