Mint Hill FC is excited to announce their upcoming open tryouts for Spring 2024! This is a prime opportunity for skilled players from the Charlotte area to showcase their abilities. As a locally owned and operated soccer club, Mint Hill FC competes at the semi-professional level in the competitive UPSL league. The team's rigorous training program includes multiple sessions per week, ensuring players stay in top form. From the end of March until June, the team has a thrilling game every weekend. In addition to the UPSL schedule, they also engage in challenging scrimmages against local college and professional teams. Mint Hill FC understands the importance of finding the right talent, which is why they are hosting two tryout sessions. Please note that participants should only purchase a ticket for one of these sessions. The tryouts are open to players aged 16 and above, and will take place at Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park. Join the Chinese Brush Painting - Year of the Dragon workshop in Cheetham Hill! This workshop offers a gentle introduction to the art of Chinese painting using traditional bamboo brushes and authentic Chinese art materials. Led by experienced teacher Ula Fung, who has over 15 years of teaching experience, you will learn basic brushwork and painting techniques through demonstrations and hands-on practice. Throughout the workshop, you will be guided through different styles, gradually building up to create your final piece on a rice paper board or rice paper fan.
