Great opportunity for any high school player who wants to learn what it takes to play college basketball and be seen by college coaches! This prospects camp, open to boys in current grades 8-12 during the 25-26 school year , will focus on the fundamentals of offensive skills including pivoting, spacing, and effectively using screens in addition to the fundamentals of defense. It will be an intense atmosphere that exposes players to college level drills, and gives them a chance to show their skills in front of Junior and 4-year college coaches who are in attendence. The Monroe County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section collaborates with The Center for Youth to host a silent auction for Teen Court Each year, the Monroe County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section collaborates with The Center for Youth to host a silent auction to benefit Teen Court. 100% of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the Rochester Teen Court. The silent auction offers food and drink, fun auction baskets, and a wine pull and/or raffle. This year, we're including a fashion flair with a red carpet event! What is Teen Court? Rochester Teen Court is a program for offenders, ages 14-19, to participate voluntarily in this sentencing court after accepting responsibility for their actions in a traditional courtroom. A sitting City of Rochester Court judge presides over the proceedings, and teen jurors recommend sentencing. Teen Court's Philosophy: Teen Court's main objective is to ensure that a teen's encounter with the criminal justice system is their last.
