Theatre Gym by Arrowwood Theatre is an experimental open studio for theatre artists looking to expand their tool belts and grow their artistic skills outside the traditional scene study and workshop structure. Hosted by Artistic Directors, Kiera Publicover and Simone Matheson, Chekhov coach, Sofie Jarvis, as well as exciting guest artists, this space will be a free-flowing playing space utilizing exercises and tools from acting theorist, Michael Chekhov. This lab will explore Fantastic Realism, Anne Bogart's Viewpoints, and Contact Improvisation. No prior experience is necessary! Theatre training is expensive, particularly in Toronto, so this is a PWYC event (suggested $10).
