Maar waar kunnen die bijen slapen nadat ze hard aan de kunstwerken hebben gewerkt? Misschien wel in een door jou gemaakte bijenhotel! Eerst zorg je dat er genoeg kiertjes en gaatjes in je bijenhotel zitten voor de beestjes om lekker in te kruipen. Vervolgens mag je jouw bijenhotel zo versieren dat het een heus kunstwerk wordt! Hij zorgt dat de bijen hun honingraten rondom een mal kunnen bouwen zodat het geheel de vorm krijgt die hij heeft bedacht. De bijen gebruiken bijenwas om deze honingraten te bouwen.
