Family Theatre: Boxed In at Worksop Library | Worksop Library
Feb 14, 2024 (UTC+0)ENDED
Worksop
Boxed In, a captivating show presented as part of the family theatre programme funded by National Portfolio Organisation Arts Council money, invites you to embark on a journey with someone who finds themselves puzzled by the unspoken rules that govern our lives. This heartfelt and mischievous performance explores the notion that lines don't always have to be straight, and that zig zags and curves can create their own magic. Our protagonist encounters a world where the meaning of "stop" can be flipped with "go," and where the right path may not always be apparent. It's a world that can feel confusing, leaving one feeling excluded and naughty for not grasping the rules. Suitable for children aged 3-6 and their families, Boxed In offers an immersive experience that challenges the understanding of rules in a playful and thought-provoking manner. The show is largely non-verbal, making it inclusive for a wide range of people, including BSL users and non-English speakers. Join us at Worksop Library, located at Memorial Avenue, Worksop, S80 2BP, on February 14, 2024, for this enchanting 45-minute performance, followed by playtime. Tickets are priced at £4 for library members and £7 for non-library members. Booking in advance is advised. For more information and full event listings, visit inspireculture.org.uk/BoxedIn. Accompanying children under 18 months have free entry and do not require a ticket.
