We are pleased to announce the World Kido Federation Member Summit 2025 to be held in the SF Bay Area Friday, July 11 - Sunday, July 13.
Join the WKF/Hanminjok Hapkido Association leadership and members from around the world for a weekend of training and camaraderie.
Important Note:
This event is limited to WKF members and by invitation-only for non-WKF members. Registrations received from non-WKF members without approval from Event Chair Steve Seo will not be accepted. If you are a non-WKF member who wishes to attend, please email steveseo@gmail.com.
(Spouses, significant others, parents, guardians, etc. of WKF members may purchase a "Banquet Only" ticket if they would like to observe conference events and participate in the Saturday evening banquet. Approval is not required in this case.)

What to Bring
Pleasanton is very warm in July (expect high 80s Fahrenheit during the day, and high-50s in the evening). However, the Bay Area is known for its micro-climates, so bring a light jacket and extra layers if you plan to visit San Francisco or other surrounding areas.
Bring your dobok for training and semi-formal wear for the Saturday night banquet (suit and tie for men; evening wear/business formal for women).

Participants will be divided into teams, with both junior and adult players working together in a thrilling team tennis format. Each round will consist of one set, and captains have the option to substitute a bench player at the end of any point. The winning team will be determined based on the number of matches won, the least amount of games lost, and head-to-head results. Dr. Patricia Brent - Sanco has been part of the education community for over 25 years. She is currently the Director of Equity, Access, and Instructional Services for the Lynwood Unified School District. In her role she is responsible for; the development, implementation, and evaluation of the LUSD Equity Plan, equity focused professional development, targeted support for students, Federal and State compliance, LCAP development, categorical budgets, migrant education, English Learner assessment, parent and family engagement, after school and enrichment programs, as well as sub group data analysis. She is the Founder and CEO of The Lighthouse Educational Consulting Group.Dr. Sanco is a national presenter and the author of several articles focused on supporting the dismantling of oppressive structures which create barriers to student success. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Hampton University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills, and a Doctorate of Education Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration on Urban School Settings from the University of Southern California.

If an equipment purchase is something you’re considering, this workshop will help prepare you to identify equipment needs, choose the most appropriate equipment, and count all or part of that purchase toward your 2025 procurement target, and get you familiar with the equipment involved through a live equipment demonstration.
