Welcome to the WWE Okanagan Causal Rail Trail Ride! Join us for a fun-filled day of biking along the beautiful Okanagan Rail Trail. This in-person event will kick off at the Okanagan Rail Trail Main Parking Lot. Taking inspiration from the Coffee outside movement we will ride for 30-45 mins depending on group speed and comfort level stop somewhere along the lake and make coffee! Have a break connect and chat before heading back. I will bring my Aeropress and camp stove to make fresh coffee, a Thermos of Hot Chocolate along with with cream and sugar. We have a limited number of bikes available, so when signing up, please select whether you'll need a bike provided or if you can bring your own. Either way, we’re excited to have you bring your skills and enthusiasm! Volunteer Arrival: 2:00 PM (Youth will arrive between 2:15-2:30. You will come out of this session a whole lot more confident on the bike. This clinic is aimed at intermediate riders wanting to push themselves to more advanced terrain, but is also suitable for beginner riders learning the base techniques. We'll focus on how to maintain traction and control to achieve flow down a trail, with each participant able to choose how much to challenge themselves. Beginner participants must be able to ride up and down green trails without needing to stop or put a foot on the ground; this is not for first-time riders.
