We are delighted to be funded by Culture in Common & the Arts Council for this event. This is a one day event only designed to give amateur musicians & semi-pros the opportunity to play, dance and listen to Argentine tango music. Tango is a wonderful creative universe that is not well-known in the Uk. This event aims to bring music and dance amateurs together to create community and have a fun day in this artistic genre! The music teachers will be Mirek Salmon (bandoneon) and Carola Hengstenberg (violin), who direct the Bristol Community Tango Orchestra, will run the tango orchestra rehearsal from 10 - 3pm, and will be providing the live music performance set at 5:30pm.
