Oaken Sings - HEXHAM Oaken is a vocal quartet with roots in folk music, branching out into pop and original songs. Emily Barden, Anna Tabbush, Camilo Menjura and Dominic Stichbury are four choral directors and composers who came together in 2020 to deliver online singing workshops during the pandemic. Since then they have developed an exciting repertoire of contemporary and traditional songs plus some of their own compositions. Their innate musicality and friendship bring warmth and joy to their audiences. Returning to Hexham (Emily and Anna's birthplace!) for a 3rd time - Oaken are thrilled to be back delivering a singing workshop which they will team teach, each member leading a part.
