Welcome to Foley Fest! Aine Magee AKA Aine Foley died in November 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Aine lived her entire life, worked and died in west London. She was a teacher and spent 24 years teaching at the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School. Alongside her family, friends and her work, Aine loved her music. In addition, we were particularly helped by two charities: Marie Curie provide a rapid response service in west London. This means specialist nurses were available throughout the night to visit and dispense medication and care as well as advice and support. They also provided staff to sit with Aine through her last nights which allowed family and loved ones respite and sleep. Maggie's are based at Charing Cross Hospital and provided us with a range of practical support such as a place for relatives to base themselves and work whilst Aine received treatment. Counsellors were always on hand as well as advisers on benefits, insurance and what to say to your children. They also provided endless cups of tea and biscuits. We are planning to organise a 'Foley Fest' event in the Summer of 2025 for upto 2,000 people. CVMS have donated their playing fields in Twickenham and Rattle & Hum have agreed to headline. In Aine's memory we are running Foley Fest on the 19th July 2025 for upto 1,000 people. CVMS have donated their playing fields in Twickenham and Dublin based Rattle & Hum have agreed to headline. They are widely acclaimed as t he world's greatest U2 tribute band and regularly play at festivals all over Ireland and Europe. This will be the only UK event they will play this summer. Mikey Magee has also agreed to play and will bring his unique blend of Manchester and Irish influenced indie rock to soutwest London. There will be music, singing, dancing and laughter. It will also be an opportunity to raise funds and awareness about cancer support services in west London. Twickenham Rugby Parking: 8th June 24 Gallagher Premiership Final offers safe and secure parking at the 2nd Whitton Scout Group HQ, conveniently located under 1 mile west from the Twickenham Rugby Stadium. The parking grounds open at 12:00 midday and close at 19:00pm, allowing plenty of time for attendees to walk to the stadium before the 15:00pm kick-off. To find us, simply follow the 2nd Whitton signs and avoid turning down Evelyn Close. Please note that stretched limousines are not permitted due to restricted access, but small minibusses with 7 to 12 seats and small campervans are welcome. A reservation fee of £3.00 is included in the ticket price, and refunds are available up to 24 hours before the match. Limited parking spaces may be available on the day for £20 at the gate, subject to availability. The parking facilities are attended at all times, and toilet facilities are provided for customer use. Before and after the match, hot drinks and refreshments are available. Please be aware that all vehicles park at their own risk, as we cannot be held responsible for any theft or vehicle damage. The parking grounds open at 1.30pm and close at 8.30pm, ensuring that you have ample time to walk to the stadium. We provide a safe and attended car park throughout the event, with toilet facilities available for your convenience. Please note that stretched limousines are not allowed due to restricted access, but small minibusses (7-12 seats) and small campervans are welcome. Refunds can be issued up to 24 hours before the match, and there may be limited availability for on-the-day parking at the gate for £20. The parking area is located at the 2nd Whitton Scout Group HQ, conveniently situated along the small lane adjacent to Evelyn Close. Please note that the nearest postcode is TW2 7BL, but it's essential to follow the 2nd Whitton signs instead of going down Evelyn Close. Rest assured, the parking at the scout grounds is secure and attended at all times. We prioritize the safety of your vehicle, although it is parked at your own risk. The car park can accommodate cars, small minibusses with 7 to 12 seats, and small campervans. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate stretched limousines due to restricted access. To give yourself ample time to reach the stadium, the grounds open at 1.30 pm, and the gates to the scout grounds will be closed at 8.30 pm. It's important to note that there is no overnight parking, and an additional cost will be incurred if your car is not collected before lock-up time. We offer toilet facilities for our customers' convenience and also provide hot drinks and refreshments before and after the match. Please purchase a Mini-Bus ticket for small minibusses and campervans. All prices include a reservation fee of £3.00, and refunds can be requested up to 24 hours before the match. Limited car spaces may also be available on the day for £20 at the gate, subject to availability.
