Kateryna and Havrylo Written and Directed by Claire Borody Kateryna and Havrylo are an elderly Ukrainian-Canadian couple who find themselves on unexpected fantasy adventures. What begins with ordinary rural Manitoban activities, like mushroom picking or ice fishing, quickly turns into other-worldly encounters. Tell us about the time you started a new job you were wildly unqualified for, or when you left a toxic relationship, or the epic disaster of your first attempt at painting, cooking, or life in general. This theme is about the untamed excitement of second chances, the awkwardness of starting over, and the unexpected moments that wipe the slate clean—whether you wanted them to or not.

Scott Nolan is an acclaimed Folk/Roots songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and poet from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty One territory. Releasing 7 albums since 2005, Scott will release a new album this December. He is known for his intimate, engaging performances and often humourous ‘patter’ between songs. Hayes Carll, Mary Gauthier, William Prince, and many others have recorded his songs. He has co-written with Hayes, Mary, William Prince, among others. He is perhaps best known for ‘Bad Liver and a Broken Heart’, which Hayes Carll made ‘famous’. Scott has toured with Hayes, Mary, James McMurtry, Fred Eaglesmith and very recently with fellow singer-songwriter Joe Nolan. Over the past decade or so, he produced albums for William Prince, Lynne Hanson, Watermelon Slim, Stephen Fearing, and many others.
