Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and connection as we pay tribute to the late Leonard Cohen, a Nobel laureate and revered modern-day prophet. Leonard Cohen's remarkable body of work as a songwriter, performer, and poet has spanned over 50 years, exploring profound themes such as religion, politics, love, isolation, and mortality. Through his creations, Cohen fearlessly delved into the core of human existence, often drawing inspiration from Jewish history, texts, and tradition.
In honor of Cohen's 7th yahrzeit, we invite you to join guitarist Dan Nadel, vocalist Shira Averbuch, and drummer Satoshi Takeishi for a captivating musical journey celebrating Cohen's life and extraordinary music. The concert will take place at the Experiential Theater, located in The Masters School at 49 Clinton Ave, Dobbs Ferry, NY. The venue is handicap accessible, with ample on-site parking available.
The show will run from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM, followed by a casual reception in the Sharon Room. After the concert, we will gather for a delightful selection of wine and light snacks, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
