Air Bare presents their first-ever aerial photographic exhibition, A Take on Minimalism, in February. This remarkable exhibition showcases the creative collaboration of Sarah and Lucy Jenkins, a mother and daughter duo who have an exceptional talent for capturing vibrant, captivating, and thought-provoking photographic images from a unique perspective. By embracing the concept of minimalism in their photography, they peel away the distractions of daily life, allowing viewers to focus on the pure essence of beauty. Lucy, an architectural graduate with Foster + Partners in London, combines her expertise with Sarah's artistic vision to create stunning visuals. Despite Sarah's muscular dystrophy, which confines her to a wheelchair, she skillfully operates a drone with a remote control in her lap, enabling her to capture breathtaking aerial shots. Together, they have garnered numerous awards and global recognition for their work, fueled by their shared passion for minimalism. Founder of Air Bare, Sarah Jenkins, describes the joy of art as a transformative experience that has given her a sense of identity beyond her disability. Now, they are excited to share their creations with the people of Perth, as they believe that the world is their canvas. The exhibition will showcase their most acclaimed pieces, featuring images from Fremantle, country Western Australia, and Far North Queensland, where Air Bare was initially launched in 2020. In addition to the exhibition, Air Bare will be supporting Neuromuscular WA by holding a raffle for one of their prints. This initiative reflects their commitment to giving back to the community. Visitors can also enjoy free entry to the exhibition. Don't miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to explore the world through the lens of Air Bare's minimalistic aerial photography. Mark your calendars for the Air Bare: A Take on Minimalism Aerial Photographic Exhibition, taking place on February 17, 2024, at the Moores Building Art Space in Fremantle.
