No prior experience is necessary, as professional singers and musicians from Opera Italia ~ Los Angeles will be on hand to guide and inspire campers. At Opera Magica Camp, children will have the opportunity to explore the world of opera through hands-on activities. They will learn to play with sounds, tones, and melodies, experimenting with both English and Italian words and syllables. Campers will also have the chance to create their own sets, backdrops, and costumes, allowing their creativity to shine. The camp culminates in an end-of-camp performance, showcasing the campers' own compositions as well as scenes from great operas. In addition to music, the camp offers storytelling, crafts, and creative games, providing a well-rounded experience for young hearts. The camp runs from January 2nd to January 5th, 2024, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Before- and after-care babysitting is available for an additional fee.
