Join Ornaglyphology for the BF3F Mini Abstract Art Making Drop-In Sesh on Friday, December 15, 2023, at their venue located at 11 Canal Street, Town of Rockingham, VT 05101. This exclusive event offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of abstract painting. The talented artist, Mindy, will be providing guests with 5x7-inch unstretched canvas that has been primed with a variety of vibrant colors to choose from. During the event, guests will have access to high-quality acrylic paint and posca paint markers to create their own mesmerizing artwork. All you need to bring is your boundless creativity. As the event involves painting, it is recommended to wear clothing that can withstand paint marks. This event is free of charge and operates on a first-come-first-served basis, with a limit of four guests at a time. In the event of unforeseen popularity, sessions will be limited to 30 minutes to allow other visitors to participate. A waiting list will be created to accommodate any additional attendees. Attendees will also have the option to purchase a selection of thrifted frames or bring their own to showcase their artwork. Mindy's remnant series serves as the inspiration for this project. Leftover paint from previous projects is thoughtfully used to doodle on pieces of fabric. The twill fabric used in this event is sourced from a window decorating design firm that was closing down. Mindy transforms these small painted fabric pieces into beautiful, upcycled artworks that are sold at accessible price points. The fabric provided for painting will be primed with latex paint that was leftover from a mural project. While this event is free, donations are greatly appreciated to cover the costs of paint and markers. An ideal donation would be between $5-10 per person.
