The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course - Classroom is a comprehensive and fast-paced 8-hour course led by experienced instructors. Designed to provide attendees with a solid foundation in rifle safety and basic operations, this course offers valuable insights into shooting positions, cleaning, and maintenance. It is a traditional classroom-based training that covers key components, proper loading and handling, and major differences in ammunition. Participants will also learn about primary shooting positions, various types of rifle shooting sports, and gain exposure to different rifle styles and popular accessories. The course consists of approximately 7 hours of face-to-face classroom presentations, followed by 1-2 hours of hands-on training and shooting qualification at a local gun range.
