Suitable for adventurous beginners. Also great for those with existing basket weaving experience as you’ll be able to learn tips and tricks on how to hone you square work bases. Willow sourced locally from the Somerset Levels.

: 9.15 arrival for 9.30am start - 5.45pm finish (approximately). Maximum of 8 participants per day. All materials, tools and refreshments provided. Sarah has teamed up with a lovely local caterer who provides us with a delicious homemade lunch of soup, sourdough bread, cheesy biscuits and cake. £10 Lunch payable on the day by card or cash. Writing Moderation Year 5 (Tiverton) | Cherith Christian Fellowship

These events will provide an opportunity for supported peer moderation and will include the chance for teachers to secure understanding of the standards and gain confidence on key areas they are looking for.
Teachers will need to bring the following:
Writing
collections
(in books not photocopies) for 3 children (choose children working at different standards e.g. EXS, GDS, WTS or borderlines)
Please make sure that if you use draft books and final write books, we will need both and not just ‘final writes’
The half-day sessions are designed so if you have mixed aged classes teachers can come for a part or whole day.

Read a bit of a book, then create the world on Minecraft via a series of unique custom worlds and specially created Minecraft activities.
The two sessions are complementary - you are recommended to book onto both to get the most out of the experience!
Litcraft is more than just a workshop, it’s a movement! Young people around the country are discovering their new favourite books and a love for reading through these innovative sessions.

You will be set up on a 4 shaft table loom and we will go through a range of weaving patterns/techniques, focusing on colour and texture. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds and vibrations of various sacred instruments, including singing bowls, gongs, and chimes.
Let the gentle vibrations wash over you, releasing tension and promoting a deep sense of calm. Sound healing is very effective at many levels to heal and nurture. It is especially good for pain, stress, anxiety and emotional balance.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to experience the healing power of sound therapy. Allow the harmonious tones to guide you into a meditative state, where stress melts away and inner peace is restored.
Simply bring yourself, a mat, cushions and blankets and a bottle of water. Wear comfortable clothing, and prepare to unwind. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get comfy. The sound bath will begin at 7pm.

Come and Sing Songs from the Musicals! | St George's Church Extension

Starting the day at 10am with refreshments we'll spend our Saturday learning a selection of songs from musicals in a relaxed and informal setting. There will be the option to read from notation or lyrics.
We are a fully accessible venue with disabled access toilets. There are many local cafes and shops to purchase lunch nearby or bring a packed lunch. Parking is available at the nearby multi storey car park, and Tiverton Bus Station is a two minute walk from the venue.
Included in your ticket is the loan of music and lyrics you will need for the day, regular light refreshments and a guaranteed day of fun singing with other like minded people!
Young people aged 14 to 18 must be accompanied at all times by an adult who is also fully participating in the event. We regret this event is not suitable for children under 14.
