Matlock Town FC, a long-standing fixture in the town since its establishment in 1878, is dedicated to promoting local business growth and community development through networking. Introducing the inaugural Matlock Town FC Business Networking Event, the club aims to establish a recurring event to bring together businesses for knowledge sharing, networking opportunities, and fostering local trade. In light of the current economic climate impacting both homes and businesses, collaborative efforts are essential to safeguarding our surrounding communities. The event has been organized in response to numerous pre-bookings from companies, indicating a significant turnout and attendance. Notably, one of our key players will be present, providing attendees with an exciting photo opportunity while also offering an exclusive stadium tour. The event will commence at 8:00 am with doors opening and refreshments available, followed by an opening address and introduction by Vikki Shipp, Matlock Town FC representative. Mark Boyce from Troo Ltd will then discuss managing energy, carbon emissions, and costs, followed by James Lund from Chesterfield College who will address upskilling and nurturing future talent. Networking opportunities will commence at 9:00 am, and the event will conclude with a closing address from Vikki Shipp and a stadium tour with photo opportunities at 9:35 am. The event will formally end at 10:00 am. We aim to organize regular Networking Events and encourage our sponsors and business contacts to attend. Upon attending, participants will receive a complimentary membership and have the chance to promote their companies at subsequent meetings. Additionally, prizes will be awarded on the day.
