The Dynamos Cricket Y3/4 event is set to take place at Tonbridge Cricket Club on June 18, 2024. This tournament is exclusive to Tonbridge schools, with the winning team earning a spot in the Kent Schools Cricket Finals. Teams must consist of 8 players, with a maximum of 10 players allowed per team, including a minimum of 2 girls on the field at all times. The format includes round-robin group matches, leading to quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. Additional play-off games will be arranged for other teams. The winning team will advance to the Dynamos Year 3&4 Finals organized by Kent Cricket. Only teams from the Tonbridge area are eligible to progress to the county finals. Teachers will act as umpires, with the requirement of using the Countdown Cricket app for scoring. The event will adhere to Dynamos Cricket rules, including methods of getting out such as run out, bowled, caught, and stumped. Players must rotate bowling after 5 balls, with overarm bowling required. Wides and no balls will be scored at +2 each to the batting team.
