Fourth Annual Tour de Hunter Mill | 1801 Cameron Glen Dr

The Fourth Annual Tour de Hunter Mill will be held in Reston on May 5, 2024. The event, organized by Supervisor Walter Alcorn, offers participants the opportunity to explore the Hunter Mill District on a community bike ride. Riders can choose between two routes, approximately 16 or 27 miles long, showcasing different areas of the district each year. Starting and ending at the North County Governmental Center, the ride will feature stretches on the W & OD trail and the new shared-use path along the Route 7 corridor. Ride marshals and Fairfax County police officers will be present to ensure a safe experience. Registration for adult riders is $30, including Tour de Hunter Mill socks and a $5 donation to Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling. Children under 15 can ride for free with a registered adult. Safety measures such as helmet requirements and liability waivers will be enforced throughout the event. Participants can enjoy post-ride food and activities at the North County Governmental Center.
