Snuggle-down Soirée | Riverside

Jul 19, 2025 (UTC-7)
Riverside
Cultural Experiences
This event is more than just a meetup; it's a chance to foster genuine connections, enhance emotional well-being, and enjoy the simple pleasure of human interaction. Touch is a vital aspect of our humanity , and this gathering provides an inviting space where people can relax and feel accepted. We would love for you to join us for this event and discover the warmth and happiness that comes from these shared moments. We will practice consensual touch , essential to understanding personal boundaries and fostering healthy relationships. It involves communicating openly with others about comfort levels and mutual consent when engaging in any form of physical interaction. Whether it's a hug, a pat on the back, or any other touch, ensuring that all parties feel safe and respected is crucial. This practice can build trust and enhance emotional connections, allowing individuals to navigate their comfort zones positively and respectfully. It is your choice to touch, be touched, or not engage in any physical interaction at all. Personal agency is key when it comes to consensual touch, and everyone has the right to set their own boundaries. This means feeling empowered to communicate your preferences clearly and respecting the choices and boundaries of others. Whether you feel comfortable with physical contact or prefer to maintain personal space, it’s important that those decisions are honored in any relationship or interaction. Healthy communication cultivates an environment of trust and respect. We will practice communicating our boundaries through fun exercises encouraging open dialogue and understanding. For example, we could start with a simple game where each person shares their comfort levels with various types of touch, like high-fives, handshakes, or hugs. Another exercise could be role-playing scenarios where one person asks for permission before initiating touch while the other practices agreeing or declining. These activities make the conversation engaging and help everyone become more aware of their own boundaries and those of others, fostering a respectful and supportive environment. This event is designed to ensure that clothes stay on at all times, creating a comfortable environment where everyone can focus on building connections through conversation and consensual touch. Participants can feel more at ease and maintain a sense of personal space, allowing for a more relaxed atmosphere. The emphasis is on communication and respect, encouraging individuals to engage with one another while honoring each person's comfort levels in a safe and supportive setting. (Think of this as going to Second Base only.) At the night's end, you may feel empowered and on a natural high from having openly communicated your boundaries and experienced positive interactions. Engaging in these exercises can boost your confidence and foster a sense of connection with others. It’s fulfilling to navigate these conversations with respect and understanding, as it reinforces healthy relationships and personal autonomy. The sense of empowerment that comes from asserting your needs and respecting others’ boundaries can leave you feeling uplifted and gratified, creating lasting positive memories from the experience. The facilitator is there to guide you towards a positive experience, ensuring that everyone feels safe and comfortable throughout the activities. They play an essential role in creating an inclusive environment where participants can openly share anything that may feel uncomfortable, or that goes against the event's guidelines. By fostering open communication and being attentive to the needs of each individual, the facilitator helps maintain a respectful atmosphere, encouraging everyone to express their thoughts and feelings. This support is crucial for making the experience beneficial and enjoyable for all involved. After your paid reservation, the address for the event will be sent to you via email a few days prior. This ensures that all participants receive the necessary details in a timely manner, allowing everyone to plan their attendance accordingly. If you have any questions or need further information before the event, feel free to reach out, and we'll be happy to assist! Refunds must be requested 7 days prior to the event date. Ticket transfer is optional prior with approval from facilitator. Information Source: Cedar House Sanctuary | eventbrite
