Led by Stephen Green, the 1.5-hour walk covers a distance of 2.7 miles with a moderate grading, presenting countryside footpaths and occasionally uneven, muddy terrain. While wheelchairs and buggies may find some areas challenging, babies in carriers or slings are welcome. For those arriving by car, free parking is available at Davy Down car park, while the 22 and 370 buses provide convenient transportation options. Please note that due to marshland surroundings, wheelchair and buggy users have a shorter loop on paved paths as an alternative. We are delighted to announce our annual family event with Thurrock's very own Nicky Trix, who is performing for us again on stage this year at Orsett Village Hall. 'The Nicky Trix Christmas Show', promises a spectacular display of fun, magic, and entertainment for all ages. Adults, concessions, and children aged 3 and over can purchase show tickets for just £12.00 each. The price also includes light refreshments during the interval and a special gift for children aged 3 and over. Admission is only £3 for children aged 2 and under and includes light refreshments during the interval. Being a charitable organization, the village hall will host a raffle on the afternoon and a children's book stall, offering a selection of delightful books in exchange for a modest donation. Parking is available for up to 30 vehicles, with additional parking a brief 5-minute walk away near the village green. Facilities include, air-conditioned hall, baby changing area, disabled WC and sloped access from the carpark with a flat surface in to the venue. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the show starting for guests to take their seats and children to get themselves comfortable in front of the stage area for the best view and enjoyment of the Nicky Trix Christmas Show.
