FESTIVAL CULTURISSIMO - SANDRINE BONNAIRE & ERIK TRUFFAZ | Théâtre de Blossac
May 19, 2025 (UTC+1)
Boulevard
» Erik Truffaz

Michelle Tea's Witch Anthology: Panel Discussion & Book Launch! | Philosophical Research Society
May 20, 2025 (UTC-8)
Boulevard
Join us for a book signing with queer lit pioneer, author and publisher Michelle Tea in conversation with various contributors and LA artists from her latest anthology: WITCH. WITCH is an exploration of the Witch, as a radical archetype, in ancient and contemporary life. Michelle Tea will be joined by WITCH contributors and artists Amanda Yates Garcia, Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs, Emilia Richeson-Valiente, Sofia La Fraga, Molly Larkey, Adriana Rizzolo, Brooke Palmieri, Edgar Fabiån Frías, Kathe Izzo, Ashley Molesso, Yumi Sakugawa, Shelley Marlow, Saskia Wilson-Brown, Mia Tsang, Sarah Yanni. About WITCH:
An adult woman haunted by her childhood muses on the foster system, institutions, and the medieval tale of a girl given to a witch. A genderqueer Brooklynite learns of their past life as a murdered sorceress. An uptight participant at a Northern California witch camp finds community in the kitchen. A professor uses magic to help students under attack by right-wing politicians.
In this collection of manifesto, poetry, playscripts, and prose, the archetype of the Witch is honored and unpacked, poked and prodded, owned and othered. From work centered in antiquity to writing which illustrates how primordial occult energies continue to enliven our world today, WITCH: Anthology lays bare a wilderness of myth, magic, trickery, and power swarming beneath the surface of contemporary life.
With work from CAConrad, Edgar Fabián Frías, Amanda Yates Garcia, Ashley Ray, Brooke Palmieri, Yumi Sakugawa, Kai Cheng Thom, Ariel Gore, Myriam Gurba, Fariha Róisín, and many others. MICHELLE TEA IS THE AUTHOR OF OVER TWENTY BOOKS FOR GROWN-UPS, TEENAGERS AND CHILDREN. HER AUTOFICTION VALENCIA IS A CULT CLASSIC THAT WAS MADE INTO A FEATURE LENGTH ART FILM. Vernissage exposition "Eaux souterraines : récits en confluence" | 63 Bd Besson Bey
May 22, 2025 (UTC+1)
Boulevard
The Vampires of Hollywood have been hanging around together since the early 2000s now striking a pose as the theatrical mirror image of the Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp. They are five high end musicians from various tribute bands to Alice Cooper, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi that have toured all over North America and Europe. They came together with a fondness for channeling the ghosts of the world’s most famous past rock heroes and bringing them to life. Or back to life in this case. You will enjoy hit songs from immortals like Van Halen, Kiss, Queen, David Bowie and other past rock stars along with many iconic songs from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith as well. The Vampires may wander in dark corridors but their shows are nothing but brightly lit, theatrical rockin’ parties with songs the entire crowd will sing along to. Nicknamed “The Bat Pack”, the group religiously avoids daylight and garlic but their colorful costuming and spooky stage set will make for a fabulously entertaining evening for people of all ages. They are sure to entertain you or die trying. Missing this show would be a nightmare

MOUTON NOIR - Renzel Dashington | 155 Bd Sainte-Rose E
May 24, 2025 (UTC-5)
Boulevard
Ce spectacle…“It’s the one”! Renzel
