My musical journey began in the 1970s as the frontman of a punk band, and I’ve been a professional musician ever since. I studied vocal coaching in London with the renowned singing teacher Tona de Brett. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working as a vocal coach, singing teacher, group facilitator, and musical director with everyone from chart stars and professional musicians to musical theatre students, complete beginners, and even those who believe they are 'tone deaf.' I specialize in helping people overcome emotional blocks and negative inner voices, enabling them to sing fully and authentically. My approach is sensitive and supportive, aiming to help individuals find and trust their voice both physically and emotionally. I'm dedicated to helping my students expand and develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. Peter’s method is about helping people find and trust their voice, physically, emotionally and psychologically. He’s inspiring and encouraging yet thoroughly down to earth. There are a lot of references to bodily functions as well as the bad jokes. The Guardian
In addition to my work with singing, I also teach meditation and studied spiritual development, ministry, and counselling with the OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation in London. I was ordained as an interfaith minister in 2004 and am currently studying for my Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Dance & Movement with Melody Bear & Milligan Bear,Ages 2-5,$185 (8 lessons) | The Maker Space at Floreat Forum
Feb 10, 2025 (UTC+8)
Boulevard
The Melody Bear & Milligan Bear Syllabus has been created in the UK, to inspire children at the start of their dance journey. Experienced dance teachers and early years education specialists have created many different themed lessons for children throughout the year, which will enable children to observe, learn, perform their dance exercises in the first week and memorise and repeat the exercises in the second week, before changing themes fortnightly. The dance classes will allow your child to freely express themselves, as they immerse themselves in creative stories and magical adventures, learning about the world around them and exciting a child’s imagination. Children are introduced to dance and movement with a ballet base, using the natural foundation actions of the body such as bending, stretching, pointing, flexing, running tip toes, tip toe walking, jumping, skipping, galloping, hopping and marching. The structure of the lessons have been designed to help develop a child’s physical development, co-ordination, balance and strength. In addition, children will learn movement vocabulary, build concentration, creativity and confidence. Props and musical instruments are incorporated in the dance studio engaging a child’s interest and stimulating musicality, which includes learning basic concepts of starting and stopping with the music, introduction to rhythm, sounds and patterns, through specially created music and nursery rhymes. Children bring their own soft teddy or doll to class to dance along, sing along and listen along with Melody Bear, Milligan Bear, Teachers, Parents and Friends. Melody Bear & Milligan Bear are the focal point to assist a child’s concentration, as well as providing a sense of security whilst settling into their dance class. The Little Bear Feet Dance class will build young bodies and minds and support children before they move up to the Melody Movement level, in a fun, nurturing environment. It is a beautiful introduction to dance for young children as they discover the enchanting world of dance and instil a love of dance with wonderful life long memories at Dance Kids Australia. Note: Kids 4-5 years old can be dropped off by parents/guardian. Kids 2-3 are to have a parent/guardian to remain with them to assist Ticket Note: $185 ticket is inclusive for all 8 lessons from Monday 10th February to Monday 31st March inclusive. About the Books The Love Lyric An R&B singer and a corporate executive find love that hits the right notes in this romance by Kristina Forest,USA Todaybestselling author ofThe Partner Plot.
Iris Greene used to be a woman with a plan. But all of that changed after she met the love of her life at twenty-five, got pregnant and married…and then became a widow and a single mother all in alittle over two years. Now, after years of hustling, Iris is the director of partnerships at a beauty company and raising sweet six-year-old Calla by herself. Despite her busy life, she still can’t help but feel lonely. She just needs to catch her breath—and one night, at her sister’s wedding, when she steps outside to do just that, she sees a certain singer who takes her breath away. . . .
By all accounts, pop R&B singer Angel Hughes has it made. He’s a successful musician and has just scored a brand ambassador deal with an emerging beauty company. But he’s still not fulfilled; he’s not producing songs he’s passionate about, and there’s a gaping hole in his love life. When he visits the Save Face Beauty office to kickstart his campaign, he’s delighted to see Iris, his stylist’s sister—the beautiful woman he’s secretly had a crush on for years.
Despite their obvious attraction to each other, they must stay professional throughout the campaign tour—a goal that doesn’t quite pan out. But when it becomes clear their lives aren’t in sync, can they fall back in step to the same rhythm and beat? First-Time Caller A hopeless romantic meets a jaded radio host in this cozy,Sleepless in Seattle–inspired love story from beloved author B.K. Borison.
Aiden Valentine has a secret: he’s fallen out of love with love. And as the host of Baltimore’s romance hotline, that’s a bit of a problem. But when a young girl calls in to the station asking for dating advice for her mom, the interview goes viral, thrusting Aiden and Heartstrings into the limelight.
Lucie Stone thought she was doing just fine. She has a good job; an incredible family; and a smart, slightly devious kid. But when all of Baltimore is suddenly scrutinizing her love life—or lack thereof—she begins to question if she’s as happy as she believed. Maybe a little more romance wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
Everyone wants Lucie to find her happy ending…even the handsome, temperamental man calling the shots. But when sparks start to fly behind the scenes, Lucie must make the final decision between the radio-sponsored happily ever after or the man in the headphones next to her. Deep End A competitive diver and an ace swimmer jump into forbidden waters in this steamy college romance from theNew York Timesbestselling author ofThe Love Hypothesis.
Scarlett Vandermeer is swimming upstream. A Junior at Stanford and a student-athlete who specializes in platform diving, Scarlett prefers to keep her head down, concentrating on getting into med school and on recovering from the injury that almost ended her career. She has no time for relationships—at least, that’s what she tells herself.
Swim captain, world champion, all-around aquatics golden boy, Lukas Blomqvist thrives on discipline. It’s how he wins gold medals and breaks records: complete focus, with every stroke. On the surface, Lukas and Scarlett have nothing in common. Until a well-guarded secret slips out, and everything changes.
So they start an arrangement. And as the pressure leading to the Olympics heats up, so does their relationship. It was supposed to be just a temporary, mutually satisfying fling. But when staying away from Lukas becomes impossible, Scarlett realizes that her heart might be treading into dangerous water... About the Authors B.K. Borison lives in Baltimore with her sweet husband, vivacious toddler, and giant dog. She started writing in the margins of books when she was in middle school and hasn’t stopped. Kristina Forestis the USA Today bestselling author of romance books for both teens and adults. She earned her MFA in creative writing at The New School and lives in New Jersey, where she can often be found rearranging her bookshelf. Ali Hazelwoodis the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Love, Theoretically and The Love Hypothesis, as well as a writer of peer-reviewed articles about brain science, in which no one makes out and the ever after is not always happy. Originally from Italy, she lived in Germany and Japan before moving to the US to pursue a PhD in neuroscience. When Ali is not at work, she can be found running, eating cake pops, or watching sci-fi movies with her three feline overlords (and her slightly-less-feline husband).
