Step back in time and groove to the rhythm of the Stow on the Wold 80s Disco, coming to the vibrant city of Stow-on-the-Wold at the iconic Stow Social Club. Get ready to relive the magic of the 1980s on April 26th to April 27th, 2024 at this not-to-be-missed arts event. With a ticket price of just £10.46, attendees can dance the night away to classic hits, neon lights, and retro vibes. The Stow Social Club, located at Stow-on-the-Wold, GL54 1DB, is the place to be for all music enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in the nostalgia of the 80s. So dust off your leg warmers, tease up your hair, and get ready to experience a blast from the past at the Stow on the Wold 80s Disco. Mark your calendars and secure your spot for a night of fun, friends, and fantastic tunes.

Children aged 4 years and above have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course consisting of 4 one-hour sessions. This course is tailored for children between 4 and 10 years old who are eager to master riding a bicycle with pedals. For optimal results, it is recommended that 4-year-olds complete our Balance Bike course before joining this program. Throughout this course, young riders will acquire the necessary skills and confidence to ride a bike independently. They will learn essential techniques such as fitting a helmet, mounting and dismounting the bike, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. The sessions will progressively remove pedals and lower seats on the children's bikes to facilitate learning and boost confidence. By the final session, pedals are reintroduced to practice all acquired skills while pedaling. The course will take place on Sundays (28th April, 5th, 12th, and 19th May) from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Stowupland Sports Centre on Church Road. The total cost for the 4 x 1-hour course is £54.88 per child, along with a small booking fee. Helmets are mandatory for all participants throughout the course. Riders must attend all four sessions, and full refunds are available up to 7 days before the course commences.
