The Fremont-Wolf River Fire Department is proud to present the 38th Annual Fremont Children's Fishing Tournament. This exciting event gives children between the ages of 3 and 13 the opportunity to participate in a thrilling fishing competition. The tournament will take place at the picturesque Wolf River Crossing Park in Fremont, WI on September 16th, 2023. To ensure a smooth and organized event, preregistration is required. Only the first 100 children will be able to participate, so make sure to secure your spot early. Registration is open for children aged 3 to 13 years old at the time of the tournament. Upon arrival, participants will need to check-in, starting at 7am, to receive their fishing tags and important information. The fishing will officially begin at 8am, giving the young anglers plenty of time to showcase their skills and catch some impressive fish. Each child has the chance to win a trophy or a door prize, making this a rewarding experience for all. A small lunch will be provided to keep everyone energized throughout the day. To cover the costs of the event, there is a $10 charge plus fees. This fee helps us provide the necessary resources and ensure a memorable experience for everyone involved. It's important to note that all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and a legal waiver must be signed at check-in. Registration will open promptly at 7am, followed by the first competition at 8am. This year, we are thrilled to offer both scaled and RX divisions, with impressive prizes awaiting the top 3 finishers in each category. The first-place finishers in the RX division will walk away with a generous $300 prize, while the winners in the scaled division will take home $200.
