The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property location wise from the station is in a great position. Noise wise, not so good! We were room 702, it was very noisy with the trains going by constantly. The room is also very hot, with the heating automatically controlled by the hotel. Breakfast is a set menu and very expensive for what it is, we paid for 3 days of breakfast up front, but after the first day decided not to have it again. Only 2 machines in the entire hotel for laundry.

Convenient location (around 1km, or 15 minutes walking distance from Kanazawa station), excellent hospitality and services, and got complimentary breakfast too. Totally superb experience, highly value for money, and would stay again in future!!

Hotel Torifito offers an excellent stay with a fantastic location near the station, making it highly convenient for travellers. The amenities are great, including a dedicated room with microwave, ice buckets, and vending machines, making it easy to prepare your own meals/heat up konbini food. Very good hotel, with good hardware and software facilities. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in Kanazawa. The transportation is very convenient, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. The most amazing thing is the breakfast, which has a rich variety. Each dish is placed in a small bowl, which feels a bit like Kaiseki cuisine. The front desk service attitude is very good, and many things can be negotiated. All five-star praise.

Parking onsite and is just outside the hotel. This makes it very convenient. Better to reserve to secure a lot when booking this hotel. Everything was good. Only down side is the air conditioning system in the rooms is centralised and cannot be controlled. When we stayed there for 2 nights, they had already switched from air conditioning to heating the rooms. The day we arrived, it was warm so the room was hot. We turned off the heater and opened the windows to let in some cool fresh air. Fortunately the 2 side panels of the windows could be opened. We slept through the night with opened windows.

All about the hotel is superb..I enjoy the hotel very much..much bigger than other hotels..5 minutes walk from kanazawa station..the 7-11 beside the hotel..there is a massage chair in the room..nice staff and can speak english very well..

The bath is separated from the toilet and I like this design. Breakfast had sufficient choices. The staff are nice and helpful. Just one comment on the sliding door that was locked ”by itself” one night. I finally needed to unlock it with a coin.

The room was very clean and it was easy to use as it was close to the station. At night, they had a projection mapping in front of the hotel, and the kids looked like they had fun getting jobs. There is no affiliated parking lot, but there is a parking lot nearby, which was convenient!

There are two public onsens, one for each gender and if you want a private Onsen you can book that too. We are nearby in several really nice izakiyas which were fantastic. The younger staff, as well as the owner and his daughter speak English and one of the receptionists is Chinese. I can not recommend this place highly enough. If you want a really traditional ryokan and a relaxing stay just book this hotel. It is truly amazing!
