We stayed at the "Premium Japanese-Western Style Room - Saika-an" which was renovated in 2012. I could hear the sound of the river flowing in the beautiful room, and although it was raining, I was able to relax in the room. I stayed at the suite Rokushoan 202, but it was very disappointing. Even if it can't be helped that the facility is old, I didn't feel clean. There is green moss growing on the open-air baths in the guest rooms, the foot baths in the rooms, and the windows, the metal fittings of the showers and equipment are wobbly, the floorboards are about to fall off in places, and the windows of the toilets are rusty.
