"The hotel is gorgeous on the outside. Very Instagrammable... but... It's located in the middle of nowhere. The beach right by it is terrible (nobody swims there, it looks kind of dirty), and there is nothing around—not a single restaurant, not a single shop. Meaning you can't leave the hotel to do anything. Everything is miles away. Then there's the pool, which is the only one for the whole hotel. It's this narrow, long pool, with five sun loungers for all the guests and four bean bags... and you just have to make do with that. Upstairs, there's a small plunge pool with a bar and music. It's small, but it's the best part of the hotel. The swim-up rooms are not worth it; you get a tiny, tiny terrace where you're completely exposed to everyone. The room is very nice and modern, but there's no wardrobe, and the bathroom is open-plan—meaning the sink isn't in a separate room... if you take a shower or use the toilet, whoever is in the room can see you... I found that quite uncomfortable. Very clean, though. And they do have a shower in the spa that you can use if you have a late check-out."

"A beautiful, ultra-modern green oasis in Phuket. This is a luxurious complex consisting of three buildings. There are rooms to suit every taste, all tastefully decorated with an emphasis on ecology. There's an abundance of wonderful greenery, making it feel as if the buildings are constructed around or within a park. Parking spaces, coffee vending machines, and a 7/11 are available. On the rooftop of one building, there's an excellent pool with a great view, complete with showers, toilets, and changing rooms. Another building's rooftop hosts a large restaurant. An aerial walkway connects the buildings. Everything is adorned with lush greenery and illuminations, making it very cozy and beautiful. The complex also features a yoga studio, fitness center, billiards, table tennis, and co-working spaces. Pet-friendly, it even has a designated pet relief area. At reception, I was greeted by a delightful young man who managed to explain everything clearly, even though I don't speak the language. A true professional. Housekeeping is efficient, and you can dispose of trash yourself in designated areas on each floor. Everything is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable stay. The complex is a little bit out of the center, but for some, that's more of an advantage. I'd love to return here next time."

I stayed here for 9 nights and honestly had a great experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
The room was very comfortable and a great place to relax after spending the day exploring Phuket. I also tried the breakfast once during my stay and really enjoyed it — there was a good selection and everything I had was fresh and tasty.
Overall, I really enjoyed my 9-night stay and would happily stay here again.
The only thing guests should know before booking is that the road leading up to the hotel is quite steep. If you’re young and fit, it’s manageable, although you’ll definitely feel the climb 😅. For older guests or anyone with knee, leg, or mobility problems, I strongly recommend taking a Grab, taxi, or motorbike when coming back to the hotel.
Apart from the steep road, everything about my stay was excellent. Great value, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a very enjoyable experience in Patong. Highly recommended! 🇹🇭❤️"

"Pros: The room was clean, though there was a slight musty smell in the hallway. I booked a small room as I was just passing through for some business in the area. The location is excellent; it's close to many popular shops, making it very easy to find food. The parking lot is spacious.
Cons: The room seems to be in an old, renovated building. There's no elevator, but it's an easy walk. However, when people walk past the room and talk, you can hear every word. The room offers absolutely no soundproofing; you can hear everything – conversations, footsteps, doors opening and closing. As they say, for the price, expecting too much would be strange."

"The hotel is good. The location is excellent – close to the beach, many massage parlors, a 7-Eleven, and Malin Plaza. Jungceylon and Phuket Central are within a 15-20 minute walk.
On the rooftop, there's a small but very beautiful pool with an excellent sea view – great for photos. The room is small, but generally tidy. Each guest gets a pair of flip-flops. Additional towels are provided for the pool and beach.
A big downside in the room is the old ceiling air conditioner directly above the bed. It's very noisy, and there are no night modes in the settings, making it very difficult to sleep with it on. If you open the window (which we did), you can hear the buzzing of the external AC units from other rooms – making it hard to fall asleep. And, of course, it's unclear how one can dry swimwear in such conditions.
The breakfast is very modest – you choose an American ”set” of an omelet, a couple of sausages, 2 slices of bread, and jams, or an Asian set which includes noodles or chicken soup. You have to choose exactly one dish per person, very modest. There's also coffee, some fruit (melon and pineapple), and a couple of juices. There's probably no point in taking such a breakfast when Malin Plaza is nearby.
Overall, the hotel feels like a 3-star (in my opinion, it doesn't qualify as a 4-star, neither by room size, comfort, nor overall service). Breakfast was a disappointment (compared to other 4-star hotels in Phuket where I've stayed on different beaches)."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was great. The environment is tranquil, located in the more upscale Kamala Beach area. The room was clean, and sitting on the balcony watching the sea and just relaxing was absolutely top-notch. Most of the guests are European or American tourists, and the sea views are incredibly pleasant. The breakfast selection is rich, though they no longer have the smoked salmon I had before. To get to the livelier areas, it's about a 20-minute walk. If you turn right out of the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store about a 5-minute walk away, and next to it, you can rent a motorbike, which is very convenient. Most of the hotel staff were enthusiastic, though a few were a bit indifferent. Overall, I had a good experience and will definitely stay here again in the future."

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing.
Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.

- If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, this hotel in Cape Panwa is a great choice. The area is quiet and not crowded, with calm and clean sea views. The hotel itself has a solid and well-maintained structure, and the beach is just a few steps away no more than five steps from the hotel!
- The breakfast was quite good, and I was lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful sea view. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely give full marks to the staff for their hospitality and service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- I stayed on the third floor, so perhaps the water pressure was not as strong as on the lower floors. The room was well equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, I noticed some stains that looked like they had not been properly cleaned, particularly on the blanket and the countertop. it was still a little disappointing and did not look good for a five-star hotel.
- Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay, especially because of the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful location, and excellent staff service. :)

The hotel is not situated along the main road, or near the beach (which is about 15mins walk). However there are restaurants and grocery shop right opposite the hotel.
My room is at level 1, with direct access to the pool. The room is spacious
I would definitely recommend to everyone!

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well maintained, which I truly appreciate. You can tell the resort takes good care of what it has.
The location is generally fine, though the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t the best. Patong Beach is about a 300+ meter walk away, which is manageable, just something to note for guests who expect a beachfront swimming spot.
The only part that slightly affected our experience was the shuttle service — not a big issue, but a memorable one. On 1 February, around 5:30 PM, we informed the front desk that we needed the 6:30 PM shuttle to Bangla Street. We even confirmed it twice and were told to sit and wait, as the staff would notify us when the shuttle arrived. We made sure they knew exactly where we were waiting.
By 7:00 PM, after no update, we went back to the front desk only to be told that the shuttle had already left. The staff apologized and admitted she had overlooked us, and arranged the next shuttle.
Nothing serious — just an unexpected extra 30 minutes of “resort relaxation time” we hadn’t planned for. 😊
Still, aside from this hiccup, the stay was comfortable, and with a bit more attention to shuttle coordination, the experience would be even better.

imjennywThe staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service.
Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately.
The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip.
The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak.
The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

We arrived early on the first day, but our room wasn't ready, which wasted some time. However, the hotel staff compensated for this by allowing us to use the club lounge until our checkout day, which made up for the initial inconvenience.

ZuobiFRANKThere are so many hotels and beaches in Phuket, and island transportation isn't very convenient. If you're not planning on island hopping, choosing a beach pretty much determines where you'll spend your time.
Pros:
1. The hotel is located in Kamala, which is relatively less crowded. It has multiple pools and offers great value for money, making it ideal for families who want to relax at the hotel.
2. The hotel breakfast is extensive and holds its own against even Le Méridien and Holiday Inn, where we stayed later.
3. While there aren't many businesses around, there are still 7-Elevens, massage places, and good restaurants. Plus, prices are cheaper compared to other popular beaches.
4. The room decor is simple but highly practical, with a sink and microwave. I even thought about buying seafood to cook ourselves, haha.
Cons:
1. The beach has relatively strong waves. It's fine for digging in the sand or sunbathing with a quick dip, but swimming or paddleboarding in the sea during the rainy season could be dangerous.
Summary: This was a hotel I booked on a whim, and it ended up being my favorite. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. Oh, by the way, there's a coffee shop next to the hotel called Sync. It's expensive and not good, and there were foreigners inside trying to exchange money with me – watch out for scammers.

I stayed here ten years ago. Perhaps due to some Chinese superstitions, there weren't many Chinese guests, and breakfast was primarily Western-style. Of course, the room facilities can't compare to newly opened hotels in China, given that this is an established resort. Aside from that, the resort ambiance was fantastic. On the day we checked in, which was my child's birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake while we were out – a nice little surprise.
The hotel is situated in a quiet yet central location in Patong. The pool is huge, offering expansive views directly facing the sea. On clear days, you can watch the sunset from the pool. It's separated from the beach by just a small road, making it very convenient for beach activities or simply relaxing. We stayed in a swim-up room for two nights, which felt more like a private pool. They're next to each other, and the restaurant, belonging to the neighboring hotel, has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe and is popular with many foreigners. If the hotel breakfast isn't to your liking, you can have brunch there; we ate there several times and also had massages for a few days straight. This trip, we stayed in both Karon and Patong, but next time, I'd only choose Patong – it's much more convenient for going out and exploring.
