Nice location, beautiful and adorable, super comfy bed, Very clean and compare to the price of booking for sleep is really really cheap and valuable. My first experience is I was booked for the cheap one and it was city view but still don’t see anything except the buildings at 5th floors. Next time I’ll books the lake view which is add more for like 100-200 baht and I guess it would be great to see the lake view. Me and my girlfriend were having a great time together and the breakfast cost was so good and valuable for the price that we paid for.

Located in the center of Phayao city, this modern hotel is less than 30 minutes from every highlight attractions in the city. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and all things looked new. We had a pleasant night. Breakfast was served at ”Happy Mori Cafe” in front of the hotel next to its parking lot. More than 20 a la carte dishes (including Thai, American, Japanese, etc.) and more than 10 lists on beverage menu (including coffee, cocoa, milk ,soda, etc.) to be chosen (1 dish & 1 cup). We chose ”Mori pan-fried egg + fresh milk” and ”Stir fried rice with northern Thai sausage + ovaltine”. What a delicious breakfast! Only negative comment is there was no elevator, so we had to carry our (heavy) luggage to the fourth floor. Overall I think 750 bath/night is worth spent for.

The staff service is not very good and you can't ask for an extra bed, so you can tell each other well, you don't have to scold people, you have to scold people. I didn't ask for a little extra for free.

We love the hotel. It is very clean. It has a wonderful view of the lake. The only reason I am lowering the review is because of the breakfast. The breakfast has three options. Boiled eggs, rice soup and a noodle dish. The second day they offered us an American breakfast, but we found a restaurant we wanted to go back to. The restaurant name is Cupcake at Phayao.

Coming from Chiang Rai 1, I don't know where to go 2. Saw hotel reviews 3, so stop by, not disappointed, 4 price 1200 baht 5, including breakfast 6 Arrived 7 each dark, but the view can see Kwan Phayao 8 Tomorrow morning would be beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean 9 Focus on white tones 10 The bathroom is 11 wide. There are 12 tea and coffee and a hair dryer. The work is considered good service. There is an employee to help lift the bag 1. The younger summer recommends a good place to travel. I'll go for the night 2nd, tomorrow we will talk about where to go. Come to Phayao, recommend you to stop by.

But when staying back, get 1 double bed, causing a waste of time to go back down to tell the staff to change rooms again Without any room upgrades in spite of the sloppiness of the staff The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the lake and many nearby restaurants and 7-11. It is also a slow 15-minute walk to the weekend night market. Although not much Don't forget to go early as it closes around 10 PM, very convenient. Simple facilities, 3-storey building, no elevator. It's not a concern for most people as long as you are healthy and mobile. The small cafeteria on the ground floor has a cozy atmosphere and the staff at the cafe are friendly. Food was ok for the price we paid. I can't ask more On the other hand, the lobby staff is not friendly and enthusiastic. Not that she was rude It's just that she doesn't care about her face when she talks to you. No looks or a welcoming smile. Overall it was up to our expectations as the room was clean and spacious. Not a bad place for a short day.

Negatives: Expensive in house food and drink Fridge didn't work on arrival and desk staff claimed fridge turned off when keycard removed. Turned out that fridge wasn't plugged in but it still wasn't cold 6 hours after we plugged it back in Room had balcony but no railing fitted (see photo) so couldn't open sliding doors or use balcony. Had to walk through carpark to get to pool. No chairs in pool area. No cable tv channels. Bed in wrong position to enjoy the amazing lake view. We had view of road and hotel opposite instead. Shower not hot. Breakfast room on roof had leaking ceiling. Positives: Very nice breakfast (see photo). Room modern. Friendly, professional staff. We would not return to this hotel, certainly not worth the price of 1440 Baht per night to us.

The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from the city centre and the lake, which my guests have appreciated. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, boiler with tea and coffee bags. We stayed at DD garden home for just one night and really enjoyed it. The Chinese owners are very kind and good English speakers. The modern style bunglows are of good size, well equipped, have a very spacious bath room, all amenities needed, and comfortable beds (yes, the matress is hard, but for us that's perfect). Due to construction works in the neighbourhood it was not as quiet as it could at other times, and perhaps you can sometimes hear the highway, but it is not a major issue. We were two people but had booked the triple room and even got three times breakfast which was very generous. In all, we had a great stay at DD garden home and can really recommend this accomodation. It is a bit outside of town, you will need a car.

The good points: a well-built fairly new hotel with large comfortable rooms and a great view (Lakeside rooms).  Spotlessly clean. Bad points: No management, or anyone of responsibility on site above the two young and rather timid receptionists over our 2 day stay.  I needed a second key card as had I suffered a back injury (no fault of the hotel) and was confined to my room initially.  My partner also required a key card to be able to gain access to the lift, and also to the room if I could not get up from my bed.  The receptionist‘s response was that “the system did not allow for 2 cards to be issued”.  I accepted that they might not have the authority to override this rule and asked to see the duty manager.  I was told he would not be in till 10 am the next day. I asked to be notified when he arrived.  He did not come in all day.  When I pressed the receptionist to see him on the third day before we left it was admitted that he wouldn’t be in that day either, in fact no one could say when, or if, he would be in attendance.  I would add that the reception staff appeared fearful when I asked for the manager’s name which I was only provided after making an absolute demand.  It is unsafe that a hotel of this size be left unmanaged.  In the event of an emergency there was no one of any authority to take charge. Breakfast was very poor;  it was served in a coffee shop by the pool instead of the dining room - I presume as there were not many guests.  I had no problem with this, but for a middle range hotel the breakfast itself was a disgrace.  Perhaps what you might expect from a cheap budget motel but not for the price we paid here.  For example, one had to make one’s coffee from an unpleasant tasting powder in a jar by an urn of hot water.  Minimal choice and scanty quantity. I didn't bother with it after the first day and went to a near by cafe instead. Room - no safe, no hairdryer. Kettle but no coffee or spoons. This could be a really good hotel but it needs hands-on management. A bit of a walk into the town but doable and worth it for the peaceful location.

We arrived in Phayao tired after a day of traveling (June 22, 2022) and were having trouble finding affordable accommodation and ended up here as it was the cheapest available. Well, we got what we paid for. I found the reception staff rude and when we got to our room it felt and smelled like the room was sealed for the last couple years. The smell of staleness and mold was terrible, there was mold on the walls and dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Maybe we were simply the first people in the room after covid but that was our experience. The place has a lot of potential and it wasn’t all bad. The bedding was clean and shower was nice, the cleaning staff were pleasant and we were able to park our scooters in their parkade.

At this price, it is considered expensive. Modern, clean and comfortable. It is a stopover, one night, location rather than a base for exploration as there are no common areas nor restaurant. The first floor gives you nice views to the mountains. Breakfast is a very basic self-serve matter with toast and instant coffee. The metalwork artefacts on the walls are a masterpiece and are wonderful - see the large peacock or the flowers, for example.
