Stay Hotel Guimarães Centro

The price was fair, and the location was pretty nice - nearby to the city center. The room was not well maintained: the bidet was cracked, the bathtub was a bit clogged, taking long time to drain. The room furniture was burnt in some spots and there were stains in the carpet. There was a side chair which also was full of stains.
Casa de Sta Comba

Let me make it clear from the beginning that we did not sleep here. The impressions I am conveying relate exclusively to the place, the facilities we saw as visitors and the feeling we got from our visit. To begin with, this is a traditional 18th century farmhouse and is located approximately 5 kilometers from the town of Barcelos. The residence is surrounded by large private lands, which are home to vineyards, animals, poultry, water cisterns for watering the crops, horse stables, duck ponds, product warehouses, dairy and wine factories, vegetable gardens... This is a living traditional farmhouse. , which can and does work with great self-sufficiency. The large granite pillars at the entrance balcony of the residence are typically rustic, the residence is surrounded by lush gardens with flowers and manicured shrubs, fountains, running water fountains, a swimming pool, and it also has a lovely chapel. The rooms we saw were very spacious, equipped with all the necessities, but without luxury as we are used to in modern hotels. These are simply rooms in the house which are now used as tourist accommodation. Breakfast is served in a large dining room and is enriched with local products, many of which are produced by the owners. Their hospitality was excellent, full of kindness and an unmistakable attitude of genuine service. We should note that their own produced wine is wonderful and has a unique characteristic green color! I think staying here offers an excellent option for anyone wanting something more quiet and traditional, while also being ideal as a base for your visits throughout northern Portugal.
Axis Ofir Beach Resort Hotel
4.1/548 Reviews
It was my third time at this hotel in less than a year. I like the location, right next to Ofir beach. Clean, spacious room with partial ocean view. Suitable for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is complete, diverse and tasty, served in a very spacious dining room. I suggest that you don't go at 7am, as, especially in low season, there are many excursions for seniors who, who like to wake up early, fill the space at that time.
Hotel São Bento da Porta Aberta & Spa

We stayed one night after a day of exploring beautiful Peneda-Geres. Coming from the Lindoso area, our GPS took us to two different dirt roads as routes to Rio Caldo; one more rugged than the other. Thankfully we had a “real” map and figured out the best way on paved roads. This is one thing to look at before your visit. There were no dining options within walking distance of the hotel at the hour we arrived. The hotel restaurant was open, but a bit too formal for our tastes. A casual lighter meal would have been a nice option in the lounge area. We ordered the ‘Fish meal for Two’ which could feed a family of five. It would have been courteous to mention the size of the meal after we had ordered two salads and a bread basket. The meal was very good, but half was probably thrown away. Hotel is very unique and the surroundings are beautiful. We had a huge room with balcony and separate sitting area. This would be perfect for a family or extended stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was dreadfully basic in a stark cafeteria setting, nothing noteworthy. Parking right outside the hotel is convenient as well as location to cathedral and outdoor activities. This hotel is a good value, has lots of rural charm, but the dining experiences take away some points.
B&B HOTEL Braga Lamaçaes

Hotel do Parque
4.3/547 Reviews
Very nice location. Very beautiful view. Nice breakfast and the rooms have a good size. Bed very comfortable and has air conditioning. The staff is nice, but not as attentive as they should be in a 4 start hotel, and that is the reason why I didn’t gave a 5. They didn’t know that we paid the room online before the check in, and asked to pay again without checking for exemple. They have games room, and bar, but both weren’t open and the bar had no one to serve you, it seem that was closed.
Hotel do Elevador
3.7/518 Reviews
A good or luck have chosen this hotel for a quick visit to Braga since the hotel itself is located in the monument to visit (bom Jesus do monte) and very close to another point of interest (basilica de Sameiro) The hotel is an old and safe hotel would be a good repas, but it is clean, beautiful and very good location. Reasons for oversight to give you a very good assessment.
HI Geres - Pousada de Juventude do Gerês
4.1/54 Reviews
For those who wanted to take advantage of almost everything from Geris, the hostel was only to sleep and PA. A pleasant surrounding area. PA was possible, but no one was hungry, because it was possible to repeat, but on request. We stayed in a comfortable apartment with all the valences for anyone who wanted to cook something fast. The cleaning could be a point to improve. In short, we recommend stay.
Casa do Rancho - Turismo Rural
4.6/54 Reviews
A fantastic a**osphere, be it the surroundings like Casa do Rancho, where the welcome is warm and makes us feel at home and that nothing will be missed during our stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows, and a hammock on the patio ideal for relaxing; It was on the patio that we had breakfast, which can also be enjoyed in a space near the pool and with a view of the surrounding greenery. Various options for lunch and dinner nearby. An experience to repeat.
