Spacious room for the same category of hotel. Room amenities also complete. They even gave local snack food n 2 cans of carbonated drinks. Hotel didn't provide bottle drinking water but at every floor, 2 units of water dispenser were placed and the filtered water taste good. Only one bad thing, room's window sound proofing were poor. Can hear noise from outside of window.

1st time Double Tree Damai Laut really surprised me. So far the best double tree hotel in my list compared to Melaka, KL and Penang. Room is not big but cozy. Most importantly my boy like this hotel the most!

This hotel is really great! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The view from the window is also beautiful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—it’s right next to a shopping mall, so you can easily walk over to shop or grab anything you need. Plus, it’s close to the city center, making it very convenient to visit tourist attractions and try local street food without traveling too far. Another plus is that the hotel offers free parking for guests, which is really convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back next time!

TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh

Firstly, quite dissapointed because we were allocated at Block C and the room was different from the pics provided when booking (no fantastic view, no bathtub like shown in the booking). Plus our room facing the city and there's ”birds” loitering ard the balcony. There are 3 blocks and the block C given to us itself quite empty and scary too. When we walk ard the hotel area at night can see only few units are occupied. Even the atmosphere at Block C were eerie luckily no ghost of cos if not we would check out immediately. We dont even dare open the curtains cos too eerie after knowing not many occupants/guests at Block C. My husband told me he actually asked to upgrade room to Block A few days before we check in, but was informed no vacancy at Block A. But when we check in, we asked to change to Block A but was informed need to top up rm250 per night because Block A. So conflicting of information. Plus, they should just fill up visitors to Block A or B, so it wont be too scary. Secondly, the toilet bowls are not that clean with yellow stains. Although, we were surprised with the ”birthday” bed decoration and ”birthday cake”, the atmosphere at Block C is eerie itself. Definitely not coming back.

Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites

The hotel location beside the river is good. The room have been updated but the 2 key things to further upgrade is the TV (too small) and the air conditioning efficieny as it takes so long to feel cold in the room. The breakfast is definitely the highlight of our stay as it brings back nostalgia and good authentic food with vast choices. The swimming pool is also good for the kids and for adults, we enjoyed the pool. The riverfront are with choices of simple cafe and restaurants that open in the evening.

Room & Cleanliness: 8/10 Room is clean & comfortable. Aircond & fan well functioning. Good water pressure but the pipe shower leaking (hope can fixed it). Hot water not really function. Iron available. No fridge provided. Deposit: RM100 & return during checkout. Complimentary toiletries: Available & they also put welcoming desserts. Lift / Elevator: Available. Internet: Strong wifi connection. TV Channel: Good, also have Netflix. Front Desk Services: 10/10 Friendly staff (Malay & Chinese girl) welcomed us with a smile. One Malay guy also help to carry our luggage. He is very polite. Parking: 8/10 Open parking space in front of the hotel. Have to pay to Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh 1hr RM0.30 / 1day RM4.00 by using coupon / Park@Perak Apps / TnG eWallet. Breakfast: 8/10 Halal buffet food. Taste good but limited choices: Nasi lemak, fried kuey teaw, porridge, sausage, salad, toast, siew mai, hot beverage, orange juice, milk & fruits. Location: Rate is depends on your trip. Location was far from Ipoh City. If you want to rest only away from noise, this is the place. If you want to explore Ipoh City, this hotel quite far unless you willing to drive. Limited Muslim restaurants around. Have Family Mart & 7E store nearby the main road. Credit to staff: 10/10 I checked in during my birthday. After I went to my room, surprisingly their staff came and bring birthday cake while singing happy birthday song. I am really touched & happy. Thank you so much for your surprised and kindness. Much appreciated! Overall: 8/10 Definitely will come again. Thanks for the memory~ 1969 Business Suites Bandar Cyber Ipoh!
