Hotels With Breakfast in Tamaulipas, Mexico

I don't usually evaluate hotels but in this case I wanted to highlight the kindness and predisposition of all staff (and the hotel in general). All interactions showed interest and willingness to provide service, from early check-in very early to the arrival, to the attention to serve breakfast, or to print an email or suggestion of a place to eat. I have been followed by many star hotels and international reputation without this quality of attention.

I stayed for 3 nights right after a heavy storm. Hotel had no power and we recognize was a tough time. However, we arrived at 3pm and weren't given a room until 5pm. During this time, we had ZERO support from the front desk. No ”would like a glass of water”! No ”I'm sorry for the delay”! Nothing!! The hall was dirt and so the room and linens. Do not recommend! Giving rate 2 recognizing a few members of the staff and the fact that the storm did create disruptions.

All was fine. At the reception they attended me quickly and without any contratempo. The staff was friendly. I found the room very clean, with air conditioning enclosed at a very pleasant temperature. The room is generally given a 3. The hotel is very clean and the hotel restaurant is wide. I was glad there are offices for sent**** to eat. They are very rich foods (home season), and enough portions. A little high prices, but it is worth it. The buffet breakfast is very rich. El segunda noche que estuvimos salimos a comprar algo aúna maquinitas y vimos el área de la alberca un cochinero, latas y pañales sucios dentro de la alberca, eran como las 11 de la noche se le aviso a la recepción y nos dijeron que ellos no podían haber nada porque ahí vendían cerveza. Gente muy borracha y nadie les dice nada. La gente de recepción cero amable no hay donde comprar agua o alguna bebida después de las 10 de la noche. No lo recomiendo no cambian las sábanas y mucho menos las camas las tienden bien solo las estiran. La limpieza deja mucho deciár. El internet no funciona correctamente muy lento. Lo que rescata este hospedaje son los meseros personas honestas y muy buena gente felicidades a ellos.

The hotel is in a great shopping area. The service I experienced was great and the people were friendly and helpful. As I got sick with eating seafood, the staff helped me out and get to a taxi. Which I would advice anyone from the States to not eat the seafood. The hotel was clean and the food from the hotel is pretty nice. I looked at the other HOTSSON and this one is nicer and you just can't beat the location. I am definitely going to book another stay at this location soon.

I speak very minimal Spanish, and the hotel staff spoke very minimal (if any) English, but they were willing to use my translation app. However, the booking said there was a restaurant, but there was not. My room was ready, but their key card machine wasn’t working. When I returned a few hours later, it still was not working and had to be escorted & let into my room via security. This meant I couldn’t leave my room for anything (Ie: ice, food, etc) without leaving my door ajar or needing to bug security to let me back into my room. This was remedied the next day, but it was an inconvenience. I received a room facing the parking lot/streets, which was noisy and extra bright. (I wish I had gotten a room on the backside, as I suffer from migraines.) The complementary breakfast left a lot to be desired. Vending machines were mostly empty. Room was clean, and location was highly desirable as it was next to the mall/food court. Bed was comfy, but the pillows SUCKED! The extra blanket had holes throughout, which was a huge quality disappointment. And last but not least… the coffee was horrible.

Hotel in a nice downtown area. Close to restaurants and shopping around. Convenient store for any items you are missing. Personnel is very attentive and willing to help out when in need. Only down is parking is limited to maybe 15 cars.

Good hotel, big rooms, cleaning every day, breakfast in the restaurant opposite is quite good. It costs acceptable money. The minus that the air conditioning is central and never disabled, you can move the roller and there will be no air but from noise nowhere to go. A couple of times I saw the cockroaches in the shower. In general, the impression of the hotel is more positive.
