"The receptionist met us at the entrance to the city and drove us to the hotel. She was happy to answer any questions or requests we had. She was very sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn't remember her name.
The hotel is clean, the view is stunning, and the breakfast is a buffet. It wasn't extensive, but we had no problem choosing. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights.
The location is perfect. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the swimming area is a 7-minute walk down a beautiful street (the only one in the city).
Our impressions were excellent.
There were some issues with housekeeping, but nothing major. The liquid soap in the room was diluted, but we brought our own, and it wasn't considered a problem. The soap near the restaurant was good, though.
The only thing we didn't understand at first was the salty tap water.
But that's probably the case everywhere.
We brought our own toothbrushes. They weren't provided. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. Towels were changed every day. Beds were made.
In the morning, you can have breakfast with a great view.

We particularly enjoyed spending time in the spa area, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The location is about a 40-minute walk to Kotor Old Town, which we didn’t mind at all as the scenic coastal views along the way made it an enjoyable stroll.
One aspect that detracted from our experience, however, was the inconsistency in staff hospitality. While several team members were kind, welcoming, and helpful, the initial check-in experience was disappointing. The staff member who check us in came across as unfriendly, and another interaction included an abrupt comment along the lines of “you get what you pay for,” which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.
Given that similar feedback appears in other reviews, it may be worth reinforcing customer service training to ensure a consistently welcoming and respectful experience for all guests. With more consistent service, this could easily be a standout stay."

"I liked the clean pool and the beautiful view of the mountains and the bay. The rooms themselves were decent. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and assisted me in ordering a taxi for the morning. However, I couldn't get in touch with the hotel through Trip.com or WhatsApp.
What I didn't like was the complete lack of utensils and dishes in the apartment-style room. Upon request, they provided cutlery and plates, but there was only one deep dish.
Also, the soundproofing in the rooms was non-existent. People were watching football near the reception all night and shouting loudly.
The location is far from the city, with only a small shop nearby and nothing else. You'll have to take a taxi everywhere, which costs a minimum of €15 in Tivat.
The restaurant prices are reasonable by local standards, but I wouldn't recommend ordering anything more complex than a salad and grilled chicken."

"The view of Perast is amazing and the hotel is worth staying in. The windows in old buildings are relatively small. The so-called sea view is actually the sea view through the small windows.
The service in Montenegro was particularly good. There was no elevator, so a strong man helped us carry our luggage, and we gave him a small tip at the end. Overall worth recommending"

"The only positive aspect of this hotel is the view. Swimming in the sea is not advisable unless you have a very strong immune system, as the city's sewage is discharged just 100 meters away.
Most staff, except for the friendly front desk team and the two Black ladies at breakfast who were very lovely, were extremely rude. Interactions often felt tense and could escalate for no reason.
Asking questions or making reasonable comments was met with hostility. For instance, we asked about guests reserving pool chairs at 9 a.m. and not using them until the afternoon, which happened frequently. The pool waiter rudely stated that guests can ”do whatever they want” and refused to address the issue. How is this even acceptable at a place where the number of seats is very limited? Every luxury hotel has a policy against such practice...
As others have mentioned, staff treat guests inconsistently. We followed a couple into the restaurant who was warmly greeted by the manager, but when we passed by and said hello, we received only a cold stare without a smile.The staff's behavior falls far short of 5-star hotel standards."

"The hotel is located in the middle of the ancient city square, the location is excellent, the use of ancient buildings to renovate, gorgeous decoration, warm and comfortable, breakfast variety is rich enough, the attitude of the service staff is very harmonious, the parking lot is outside the ancient city, you need to book in advance. Best rooms in center of kotor old town,its inside the wall of kotor,room and services was really good,lady who checked us in was very kind and helpful in the process,just note parking is away from the property, the only issue was bell from the street,since we were on street side we were disturbed a bit but thats totally outside of htels country

The place is small but mightier in the service they provide. Aesthetically appealing. Staff were very lovely, kind, courteous and understood the assignment. My friends and I paid extra for the massage service which I will do again as the lady who attended to us knew her onions(she is very good… thank you again😊).
I rode a bicycle after almost 20years, this was free🤩
Downside for us was that “Jacuzzi wasn’t included in the booking”. We didn’t know about this as it was not stated online prior to making the booking and it was part of the reason we chose the place. Information and reviews I read sort of says you have free access to jacuzzi but it is not so however, we expressed our concern regarding this and they where thoughtful enough to allow us use it as a welcome/thank you note from the management.❤️
On behalf of my friends and I, we enjoyed the service/this place.

The hotel is relatively small, there are about 8 rooms, small and exquisite, the staff is friendly, the service is thoughtful, free parking is available, and the store is in mid-April, about 100 euros/night. I personally think that the price is relatively high and it is recommended.

Guest UserStaying at the hotel was one of the most pleasant in my history of travelling across different cities and countries. A very polite, heart-hearted and responsive service, we were appreciated to the luxuriant with the balcony because there were free places and we traveled not in the season. On the top floor there is a wonderful terrace on which you can drink coffee and read. I would like to celebrate breakfast separately - simple pet food and dishes, but cooked incredibly delicious. Also we helped call a taxi to the airport, we flew very early and feared we wouldn't find the car on our own. I will certainly recommend and if I choose to accommodate in which again, thank you ❤️

Because I booked a hotel late, I didn’t have many choices. Hotels in the ancient city are very expensive. This Puerta apartment cost 4,000 for three nights, which is indeed very expensive. The service is average, the price is high but there is no free water, no slippers, and no cleaning service during the stay (although we generally don't need it). Arrive at noon, enter the north gate of the ancient city, go up the alley to the left of the church, and call the notice at door 505, telling you that you cannot check in before two o'clock, and you can only sit in the ice cream shop with your luggage for an hour. Later, my brother took me to a nearby alley. The room was here and the cleaning was rather sloppy. The highlight is the breakfast, a cooperative breakfast with Athos Street food, which is large and delicious. Because we had to go out early on the first day, the beauty at the dining bar made sandwiches in the evening and delivered them to our room. It was a great review! If you book early, you will definitely choose an apartment not far outside the city.

The property is well-placed if you have a car – roughly ten minutes in either direction to Tivat or Kotor Old Town. Just be aware that the approach is via very narrow lanes, so confident driving (and a smallish car) is a plus.
Although the building is relatively new, the overall impression is more functional than polished. The staff were pleasant enough, but housekeeping felt a little on the half-hearted side – things like topping up shower gel or toilet paper only happened when requested, and bed linen wasn’t changed despite being obviously soiled.
If you’re looking for somewhere budget-friendly and manage your expectations, it does the job. Just don’t come expecting boutique-hotel standards.
