"Location: Straight out from Yuda Onsen Station, it's about 600-700 meters. There are convenience stores, several small restaurants, a park with a foot bath, and a direct bus to Akiyoshido Cave nearby. However, it's about 3 kilometers from the main commercial area around Yamaguchi Station, and there's not much to see or do on the way.
Facilities: The rooms are generally quite new, and the bathroom is spacious, though I didn't use the shower. The onsen area isn't huge, but it's well-equipped with indoor, outdoor, private, cold water baths, and a sauna. For women, the sauna is replaced with a hot stone spa.
Cleanliness: No issues.
Service: You can drop off your luggage before check-in, but they won't bring it to your room. Also, while not the hotel's fault, their courier service (Takkyubin) only offers cash-on-delivery. So, if you plan to send luggage, be sure to confirm this beforehand."

Especially good was breakfast.
There were many things in the ground, and the freshness was outstanding and all were delicious.
On the other hand, the hot spring is clean, but the ingredients felt thin compared with the flow.
The sauna was a little wet at 90 degrees on the upper stage, and the water bath was a little colder."

"The hotel is about 30 minutes away from Miyajima, so I booked a hotel in Iwakuni instead of Miyajima to save money and see Kintai Bridge.
Iwakuni Castle and Kintai Bridge are near the hotel, and I could see Kintai Bridge from my room, which was nice.
There is a large bath and an open-air bath inside the hotel, so I think there are many things to enjoy. You can see Kintai Bridge and Iwakuni Castle from the open-air bath.
Actually, there is not much to see, but I think the large bath alone is worth going.
I originally booked a room with a mountain view, but I was given a room with a view of Kintai Bridge, which was even better.
The staff are all friendly, so even if you don't speak Japanese, they will slowly teach you."

"I always stay at Dormy Inn no matter where I go. The premium experience is definitely a step above. In the hot spring, there were these huge bundles of plants that looked like green onions? And you could see Mojiko Port from the outdoor bath. I heard the breakfast here was great, but I just went for a hot spring soak in the morning and missed it."

Casper WongLocation is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). Room setting is great - I especially liked the couch area. Cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been even better. Coin laundry machines at the hotel are among the best I've tried - the passcode lock feature of the machines prevents your clothing items from being mistakenly taken by others.

Great business hotel. Clean and tidy, helpful stuff (not to mention some of them speak English), good Japanese-style breakfasts. Not scary cold inside! (and believe me, it’s a special point to be considered).
The hotel was chosen because of its location and type. All business hotels are plus-minus the same, but that one was even better than usual ones.
Location: 4 minuted walk to Shimonoseki station (and maybe 12 to a ferry terminal) with a range of buses, a shopping center and several convenience stores.
Absolutely costs its money. My choice for next stops at Shimonoseki.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough.

It's a capsule hotel, but this is the first time I've had such a good facility. The location was also good because it was about 15 minutes walk from Yamaguchi Station and close to the surrounding tourist spots.

The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.
