"This was one of the low key place where it is located after crossing Nara train station. Convenient. Staff was welcoming, allow to leave luggage before check in time. The whole hotel has tatami flooring, you need to go to locker leave your shoes in there, throughout the stay. In the room they gave you a bag, socks to wear around hotel and towels to use in public onsen. It was a great experience and dipping in hot pool after long day walk. Most families guests, and they allow older kids accompanied with parent of same gender. But those parent don't know how to control kids should respect the other guests. I have kid myself and try to be respectful. Since after onsen they wan to give cooling down so they have free flow ice cream afternoon to night. And probiotic drink morning. They have a massage chair and if it is peak season proly all these will be in queue. But I went on weekday and end of May so it was quite nice. Not too busy. I didnt pick hotel breakfast as I always wake up late lol. Oh and supper 9pm or 930pm onward they provide ramen and it was real nice after a long day and after onsen, hearty hot ramen soup and green tea to end the night. The experience they provide part of the stay is really fantastic!"

"We really loved the hotel. The service was excellent, and the room cleaning was perfect. If you’re interested, our room was very spacious with a gorgeous bathroom, fully stocked with all the toiletries and even pajamas. There was also a massage chair and every possible comfort — simply amazing. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the metro; maybe there are some bus routes, but we used the metro. "This is a great option if you want a budget option that is still reasonably comfortable and clean. You get a physical key as the room key and there and then you know that it is a dated hotel. And that also means anyone can access the hotel room floors, and thankfully, there was no security issues throughout our stay.
Besides that, the hotel room amenities are acceptable and we enjoyed using the bathroom supplies very much. We booked the Large Twin Room which also means our bath area and toilet are in separate rooms, which is great. The bathroom has the traditional bath house concept with the stool and low mirror, which made our bath time fun for the kids and interesting for adults.
We like that fresh towels were provided daily even if we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob. Housekeeping would leave the items in a plastic bag outside your door, including bottles of mineral water. Yes, bottled water is provided for free here, which is perfect.
The hotel staff were very friendly. Lifts were spacious and worked perfectly. There were no bugs in the room. Our non-smoking room also smelled fine - no odd or bad smell/odour. The location is also easy for taxi drivers to find.
There's also a Family Mart and 7-11 less than 5 minutes away. While you're there, check out Yakinikukotora, just 5 minutes away - a great place to go for dinners and suppers; I believe they close at 3am.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay."

"A fantastic local hotel, popular with both locals and international guests. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast for the half-board option was a bit lacking, but dinner was excellent. We had booked a Japanese suite with a view of the Five-Story Pagoda, but unfortunately, the pagoda is under renovation until 2034, so the view was a bit compromised. Otherwise, everything was great. Deer were everywhere right outside, and the location was superb."

"The hotel is visible right from the subway exit, and public transport nearby is very convenient. There's a convenience store downstairs. "Absolutely blown away by this hotel! The design is stunning, and the views are just incredible – you can see deer, cherry blossoms, Mount Wakakusa, and the lake all from here. It's perfectly situated right in the scenic area. The room was huge, and the service was impeccable; they granted every request. Nara is definitely a place worth staying and savoring slowly."

Dallas GohThis has to be my favourite hotel in Japan. Firstly, the hotel is close to Nara Station, about a 3 minutes walk away. Room is spacious, and plenty of free consumables provided in the lobby. Filtered water dispenser is also available at the lobby. I think there was some food or snacks provided at night, but I came back to the hotel too late, only to find an empty tray with crumbs only.
Breakfast is a mix of traditional Japanese cuisine and Western breakfast items, and I was super impressed with the Japanese style breakfast! Please, you have to try the breakfast if you’re staying here.

Good ..The guide lady who helped show me the way was especially nice. She could even speak a bit of Chinese. She helped me get on the shuttle bus to the station. And the scenery around here is really amazing.

littlelukelookThis hotel is super conveniently located right next to JR Nara Station, making transportation a breeze. There's a 7-Eleven and a large supermarket next to JR Nara Station, which is really handy. You can also catch a bus right outside the hotel to Nara Park.
The hotel offers many optional services, showing great thoughtfulness.
The onsen (hot spring) experience was generally good. They even provided sleep aids like different pillows and sleep supplements.
My room was quite spacious for one person, though the facilities were relatively simple. The keyless entry with a password lock on the door was great as it meant I didn't need to carry a room card. The hairdryer was a Refa, and it was fantastic!
The best part was definitely the free happy hour at the restaurant in the evenings. There was a wide variety of drinks available, and many guests brought food from the convenience store to enjoy with their drinks.

Hygiene: Yellow stains that had not been cleaned were found on the toilet
Environment: Halfway up Mount Wakakusa, isolated from the outside noise. The overall design style is modern Japanese. If you want to experience pure Japanese living, you should pay attention to the difference
Service: The service is still worthy of praise. The driver and front desk staff are very enthusiastic. They helped arrange the car to go up the mountain in the morning. It was very lucky to see 👀 deer🦌 on a rainy day
Food: Most of the food arranged is made from local ingredients in Nara. The ingredients are not gorgeous, the taste is OK, and it is more down-to-earth

slowly-rabbitThe room is quite big, and there is a small balcony where you can go out and get some fresh air. The chickens in the yard downstairs are sleek and shiny. They said there were four chickens, but I only saw three. The rice balls for breakfast are OK, freshly made by hand. It is within walking distance of Kintetsu Nara Station.

My trip to Japan was so enjoyable largely because of this hotel! I was initially worried about the two Superhotels, but this one was fantastic! It's right across from the JR station, and the staff at the front desk all speak Chinese, and I heard they also speak Korean, Japanese, and English—amazing! Communication was completely seamless. During check-in, they explained everything in detail, including pillows, pajamas, combs, shampoo, and more! The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and I noticed many Japanese people choose to stay here, which was really great. Nara Park is also within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful time. I've already recommended it to everyone I know, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kansai—it's even cheaper than others! The rooms are small, but that seems to be a common problem with Japanese hotels.
