"CityHub’s location was perfect! Right in the heart of downtown Reykjavík. The hot tub was absolutely fabulous during a cold morning rain. The rooms were futuristic looking with lights and sounds depending on your choice of mood. The beds were super clean and comfortable! Their key card was a wristband that you could place over your wrist so you don’t have to worry about losing your hotel card or trying to figure out the code to your room. The bathrooms were spotless and had continuous music with a good beat playing from the background so you can listen and dance a bit while brushing your teeth. They had a great system used in the dining area when pulling your own draft beer or other drinks and the atmosphere at night was peaceful and relaxing. The morning shift staff member which I believed was the owner was extremely friendly and helpful as well as the night shift staff member. However, there was one day shift staff member that wasn’t so helpful and was quick to negative judgement. There was also an additional fee that wasn’t mentioned when booking the room online. Other guesthouses did not allow it or it was probably already added into the package deal that you bought."

"This hotel easily meets a four-star standard. The facilities are great, and the rooms are very new. They offer free parking and the location is convenient. There's complimentary coffee at the front desk. Since it gets dark late, the sunset view from the floor-to-ceiling window was beautiful. I'd definitely book this hotel again next time, it's excellent value for money!"

"It was easy to find the hotel and my room. The code on the door was kept switching but eventually got inside. It’s not a luxury but you got everything you need. The kitchen has all basic stuff and even tea and coffee. It wasn’t busy and I felt safe there. I’m happy with my stay. A little walk down from the hotel and you reach this beautiful view which is gorgeous."

"This hotel is a transit hotel we chose on the way from Snæfellsnes Peninsula to the southern route. It is located in the suburbs of Reik, about 30 minutes' drive from Thingvellir National Park. This hotel is a motel, and check-in and breakfast are both in the bar next door. The room facilities are a bit old compared to other places we stayed in. The feature is that there is a kitchen and a microwave for self-catering. There is no hair dryer in the room, and we went to the front desk to ask for a very old and dusty hair dryer. I can only say that the price is there and I can't expect anything more. There is a KFC next door, pay attention to the business hours, it is closed in the morning."

"The hotel is located in the southeast corner of the city, so it's not in the central area but convenient for airport access. The room is spacious enough, and the TV can connect to your phone for screen mirroring, which is quite handy. Breakfast is quite simple, consisting of all cold food. Overall, it offers decent value for money."

"Super friendly staff, best location in town. Only negative thing I can say is, despite our rooms not being booked by anyone else prior and being ready for us, the hotel wanted to charge by the hour for early check in. If you have luggage with you, they'll also charge you to store that too if you are early to 2pm check in. As our flight arrived at 6AM it meant we had to haul our luggage around or pay the price which was inconvenient. Otherwise great spot, would return!"

"Honestly, this hotel was a bit of a letdown. The first room was incredibly small – so small you couldn't even open a 20-inch suitcase anywhere but by the door. There was no desk, and the bedside table was comically large, also doubling as a clothes hanger. There was a friendly Chinese lady at the front desk, which was a plus. However, in that particular room (I forget the number), there was an inner window that not only wouldn't open but faced directly onto the hallway, so you could hear every little noise. Not ideal if you're sensitive to sound. Also, they provide no toiletries whatsoever; you have to bring everything yourself. On the upside, the location is convenient. Turn left out of the hotel for a supermarket, and turn right for the sea. It's also an easy walk to the Rainbow Street in the city center. Secondly, there's the price. In Iceland, where hotels typically start at 1,000 ISK, finding a place for around 900 ISK with a private bathroom is rare. It's suitable for budget travelers or those on daily tours who don't spend much time in their room. One more thing: luggage storage costs money, around 5 euros, and requires a QR code payment. I tried to pay with cash, and the front desk guy seemed quite flustered, like he wasn't used to it."

"Close to the BSI main bus station (airport bus drop off) about 10-15min walk. Self check-in is possible if you arrive late in the evening. You will be given the passcodes for entrance to the building and also to the rooms. You just have to contact them. As for my room, I stayed in a single bed. It is small but all good. It has its own sink which is pretty useful for doing skin care. It also has cabinet and table and its own room heater. Toilet and shower is just outside the room. Every floor I think has its own T&B. Second floor has the kitchen and dining area. You can cook or prepare your own food here. They offer breakfast for 7euros. I didn’t try this tho. Coffee and Tea are free all day. The closest grocery store is a bit of a walk, about 10-15mins or 950m far. Also, same for the restaurants. Overall, this is very good value for money. It’s cheap for Iceland standards. I stayed for three nights and had no complaints."

"Hands down the best hostel in Iceland! The common areas are incredibly clean, and the private bathrooms with showers are a huge plus. It's super warm inside – almost too warm! The bedding is really soft, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking."

"Nice hotel. Very stylish exterior. The hotel is very conveniently located on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik. We stayed the day we arrived in Iceland and the last two days after traveling around the island before returning home. Good breakfast. It is very important that there is a restaurant that is open from 18:00 to 22:00, because in Iceland finding food after 17:00 is another challenge... Free parking. There is a supermarket nearby (500 meters on foot). The Airport-Reykjavik bus stop is also near the hotel (50 meters) for those who do not rent a car. Highly recommend if you are happy with the price of this hotel when booking! On the downside, the tap water smells like sulfur, but this is Iceland - a country of geothermal springs!)) P.S. the hotel has a free swimming pool with geothermal warm water + sauna for visitors. They work until 22:00."
