Hotels With Breakfast in Tamil Nadu, India

As the name suggests, it’s a decent hotel for quick travellers, who don’t expect much. But sometimes, basic expectations are disappointing as well. The rooms are sufficient, with the basic of basic needs met. A shower, twin beds, a washroom, locker, mini fridge and a basin is all that is there. Yes some rooms have a work table as well. The concerns start outside the room, lack of AC in the dining area, non operational lifts, blocked sinks, non operational ac in the room, an entrance which does not have a canopy, etc are the things I have seen in a 3 night stay. The staff is relatively inexperienced and try to handle the situation, but can get annoying at times.

We used Banquet Hall in Raintree Hotel St Marys Road Thanks for offering a fantastic hospitality today whilst we had our day workshop today at your premises. - Hall was great for 40 of us - AV systems and Projector were great (which normally easy to have challenges) - Support who were available in the Hall (Prakash, and other kitchen staffs) all were exceeded our expectations - Everyone appreciated the Food Spread ! Special thanks to the Chef : Hithayathullah S I would rate a promoter score if there were a NPS survey 😊 Finally the Banquet ***ager Divya was a great person to work with, she ensured all our meeting needs are taken care from the Quote estimation to Final Invoice.

We had a pleasant stay in Ooty sterling elkhill for two nights and three days,The resort is located in the top of the hill,Both the side of the resort entrance covered with the beautiful flowers,It is welcoming the guests,once we reached reception the people were welcomed us with smile and hot welcome drink,it was simply superb,The room which was allocated it was amazing ,Rooms were kept neat and clean,well maintained, Housekeeping Mr.Zam*** the person took care of our whole stay with the memorable, Food was very tasty and staffs were very polite and co operative, Thanks Mr .za*** for the wonderful service,we will visit back again very soon,

The best hotel in town! I have stayed in several hotels in Chennai and this is by far one of the best. You feel totally excluded from the busy city of Chennai and have a nice a peaceful time in the hotel. The rooms are big and beautiful, the level of service is super high. The restaurants are really good. Would definitely recommend to try Pan Asia!

The hotel room was nicely sized, had a comfy bed and had free daily fruit platters. There was a blackboard touch on each level that encouraged guests to practise Tamil! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even packed an early morning breakfast box for us. We had lots of conversations and good insights into the city and sightseeing through the staff members. The breakfast and dinner were outstandingly good! Would book here again and again!

I used it on a business trip. Close to the airport, walkable. It was a pity that the room did not have a bathtub, and I felt that the lack of USB charging was due to the age of the facility. The exterior of the hotel had ***y cracks, and to be honest, I was worried about it, but the interior was very clean, and the room was clean, so I was relieved. Amenity was prepared one way and was glad that slippers were attached. Breakfast was a buffet centered on Indian cuisine that made me feel like I was in India. I drank filter coffee, but it was less sweet than other drinks and was very delicious, so I had another second.

Excellent Resort, away from the city rush. The rooms and Bathrooms are clean, Jaya ji at the reception was always helpful. Overall we had a 3 night pleasant stay, with a beautiful view.

The entrance was beautiful ! the room was amazing it was a great idea to put the TV infront of the bedroom but kind of you should clean the bathroom the food was luxury we love this room and hotel so much because this hotel is luxury this is a nice place to stay in this hotel and room

Hotel location is good, about half an hour drive from the airport, shopping and shopping around is more convenient. Good facilities, intimate service, rich breakfast and friendly staff. In short, value for money. To vomit is the credit card checkout shows the price of Lu, the result is the dollar, the key is the exchange rate of the two. Proposal to pay with rupees if possible.

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to have a club feel and went down to the club. They could have played tamil songs, its India and your guests are Indians, playing on and off English songs are fine but Tamil songs would really been better

Its nicely located in the middle of old town. but this means that the views are boring. i think the hotel is just coming out of covid issues as it is understaffed and most of the resaturants are closed and the food its iffy at best. i spend the the first hour of my stay as they relaced the mini fridge that had stopped wokking and had leaked all over the wood cabinet leading to a stink. next day i spend three hours waiting for maintaince to water proof the bathroom that was leaking into the sleeping area. the third day i had to watch for an hour as the Ac maintaince were trying to repair a leak which had seeped into the false ceiling leading to a new smell. The rooms are nice and spacious. so are teh bathroom but the WC is located in a tiny alcove in the bathroom making it unconfortable to reach for the health faucet. teh towels are clean and the beds confortable. the writing cair and table are well made and teh easy chair is also comfortable even for a big sized man like me. the laundry service is efficient. the complimentary Tata branded tea and coffee is undrinkable, so is whatever brand of creamer they use. i dont undersand why they dont just use amul and nescafe. inroom entertainment is still just basic tamil cable TV. room cleanliness is average with cobwebs on the bathroom sink and tea stains on the floor. again this is due to understaffing and overworking the existing staff. the staff themself is very helpful and hardworking. the restaurant is understaffed but despite this, the staff were helpful and pleasant. and the chef's range is a bit limited. the lobby area is nice and spacious, but the corridors poorly maintained with gaps in the carpets and the floors leading to repeated tripping risks. the carpets stink. the pool on the roof is nice and large but can only be used ealy mornings or in the evenings as it has no awning. I had a pleasant swim one evening and wounddown on the comfortable deck chairs. the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired. the gym is well equipped. they have a spa but didnt have male massuese so could be utilized. but it looked clean and pleasant. wifi connectivity was good through out the hotel and not spotty at all. basically this could be a great hotel if they staffed it well and updated basic infrastcuture and threw out their stinking carpets. But it looks like staff will be made to do more and more with less and less. would i visit again? unlikely.

This hotel is the hotel I have been staying in. The environment is very good. In addition, the breakfast is also very good. The main thing is that it is too close to where I am going.

The entire butler team (Bala, Saravanan and Napolean who made sure they went the extra mile at the lounge. The entire Jiva Spa team who made sure we were well rested and relaxed. The entire restaurant and kitchen at Southern Spice team who enticed us with their superb food. The entire Front Office team who made our check-in and check-out seamless. The entire Door*** and Concierge team who helped us with our endless shopping bags. The entire Housekeeping team who did something small every day to put a smile on our faces when we returned back to the room. Breakfast category is acceptable, egg pie, hot milk, fruit, vegetable soup, donut ravioli, smoked salmon ravioli per person, no problem to eat; meal leader, front desk will lead to the elevator after registration, service is OK The interior is simple in design, but the colors are not very like, it is slightly old; there are hanging pictures and sculptures in the lobby and corridor, and the texture is also good.

We stayed here for two nights on our four week tour of Southern India. We took the toy train for the last hour up to Ooty. It was fun but there were not the stunning views we expected. Ooty is being ruined by lots of building but the Savoy is still an oasis. The hotel is just what we expected and had wonderful touches of English traditions. The gardens in which the rooms stand were a joy in the cooler weather, so well tended by the gardeners and enjoyed by all the guests. After three weeks of heat and chaos we were reminded of our garden and cats at home and were able to really relax. Rooms were comfortable. The staff were lovely, the soups and curry excellent although we found the breakfast disappointing and the staff did not have a kettle to boil us water for tea, the water was lukewarm. It was a shame we could not eat anywhere outside, especially at lunchtime, the lights in the restaurant area were a bit bright.

It was very nice experience with-our family. People there have treated us very well. Especially at restaurant we were treated well by chef Vijay who prepared our food with much care. Food for baby was provided at any required time. Hospitality of Mr.Dinesh made us felt the real warmth of Ooty. Also should mention others took much care on us Miss. Shelly, Miss. Jenni and Miss. Sharmila. Gardener Mr.Swamy was so sweet to explain our children about each plants. Thank you all for the memories created.

Our stay at Club Mahindra has always been pleasant & so was our stay at Derby Green. The courtesy for the same goes to the ***agement & the resort staff. We stayed in HUK room which was quite spacious to accommodate family of 3. Housekeeping was up to the mark. We throughly enjoyed the bonfire in chilled evenings which was there for all 3 nights of our stay & the evening activities hosted by Mr.Shumik & his colleague ( from travel desk). The food spread for jain food could have been better. The most memorable experience of our stay here was the e-bike tour by tour guide Mr.Akshay. He was so well versed with history of Ooty that even 3 hours of tour were not enough to know about this Queen of Hills - Ooty. He took us to heritage sites & gave brief history at every site & clicked lovely shots too. We would have missed something if we had not opted for it. What we experienced is something which will always remain close to our heart. Thanks Akshay for this memorable experience. Don't miss to book ebike ride during your stay at Derby Green.

Kotagiri being away from more commercial hubs of Ooty and Coonoor, provides its own charm, which is accentuated by this property. Placed in serene surroundings and spacious rooms, it's the perfect getaway you need from city's hustle bustle. Add to that the extremely hospitable and always accommodating staff, you get an amazing experience. The food prepared by the cooks is absolutely fantastic and also not very expensive. Special mention on the ***ager Lakshmi who ensured we get 5 star experience.
