Great locations. Located just right on jalan Khatib Sulaiman, looks like one of the major street in Padang. About 8 mins walk to Transmart mall and some other food chains; 10 mins walk to Mesjid Raya Sumatera Barat/The Sumatera Barat great Mosque; 15 mins walk to Lamun Ombak Padang resto. Room were clean and cool AC, guest room card access to use the elevetor to go up to the rooms, nice view to the mountains. Recommended.

Totally is fine. But I really don't like dark room. There were 2 bulbs down. I call that service at 6 pm, they directly came to check and they came back with new bulbs at 9pm. Maybe the replacement not available at that time. But because my children were sleeping at that moment so I cancel it.

this hotels views are the best. but the service a little bit slow. We arrived hotel at 1.30 PM and check in, but the receptionist tell us the room not ready yet. we waiting about 1 hour and half till we can enter our room. but over all this hotel is good.

I chose this hotel after reading many reviews from my country. The hotel is beautiful, located on a hill with a stunning view. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which included Padang-style dishes. However, the hotel is a bit old and has carpeted rooms, which I’m not particularly fond of. Nevertheless, it’s fine as I’m only staying for a night before heading out to explore tomorrow.

The hotel is nice and looks new. Bedding is very comfortable and clean. Staff is great and helpful. The only setback is its location; a bit far away from the city and within walking distance to the sea, but the area is very dirty and messy.

Mmohd radzi ramliFront desk staff quite friendly. Room just okay to me. As a business traveler in and out hotel is a part of our routine. Frankly I am not favor with the washing basin in the middle of the room with no wall no door. Just imagine for those sharing a room it's disgusting brush of your teeth besides your roommate bed and spiting, just cannot brain. Another part that I cannot accept open closet. Hanging your clothes with no cover and it's small even for short term traveler like me. Since we had a meeting in house Food wise average. The location , located somewhere nowhere. Nothing that I write about the location. There are Pizza Hut, Mc Donald and KFC in front of gloomy road of the hotel.
That's all for 2 nights stay I can see.

BBell_Padi Eco Lodge - A Mixed Experience
The lodge has friendly staff and clean rooms, which made our stay comfortable. However, walking to the property from the parking area is quite far, and the path is dark at night. Adding street lights would improve safety and convenience.
The café opens at 8 am, which is late for guests with early schedules. An earlier opening time, like 7 am, would be more practical. The bathroom amenities were minimal—only body wash was provided, with no shampoo available.
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, but there’s room for improvement in convenience and amenities.
