Arrived early and asked staff at desk about bus links as wanted to leave car, he was so helpful and went above and beyond getting out his phone to show us the way. He booked us a taxi for later on as we were heading out to a concert, on returning I asked for plant milk and was given a mug of freezing cold soya fantastic. Room was spacious and very clean, great sized tv. Bed was comfortable, temp of room comfortable and choice of firm or soft pillow superb. Breakfast was well set out and choice very good, as a vegan I struggle at places and am often met with a ‘I don’t care to help you’ attitude. Soya milk on ice, cereal, bread, fruit juice and fruit. I could have asked for sausages but opted for cereal and toast, staff constantly cleaned up and checked temperatures of both hot food and milk. When she wasn’t busy doing that, she stood with her hands crossed in front waiting to help out. This is a three star hotel that deserves a five star, because I’ve stayed in many a hotel at five stars and not had such a lovely experience. We will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet and picturesque area to stay. Amenities were plenty and the rooms are clean and spacious. Definitely need a car if you want to explore. Food quite pricey but cocktails were lovely!! We have been here three times over the last 8 years during different times of the year, so have had sun, rain and snow. Did not affect our stay as roads were cleared and the grounds are beautiful to wander round. Pool and gym open 08-2000hrs so plenty of time to visit

A lovely hotel in a quiet setting. Bar service was a bit slow but available most times during the day. Food service was ok. Breakfast was good… wide variety… although fruit could have been fresher, ( apple was brown). Dinner at night was ok. Entertainer was good, enjoyed his music and cheerfulness. Difficult to get a taxi on the day we left and was pouring with rain. Staff were really helpful and took us to the train for which we were really grateful! I suggest booking a cab the day before. Our room was comfortable and a good size. However the bathroom window curtains need attention. A shower curtain pinned up with press studs wasn’t appropriate for security and privacy! We would stay again.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

Overall a nice hotel with a good atmosphere and stunning gardens and views. Staircases can be better indicated and another lift would be useful. Breakfast a bit disappointing.

We stumbled across this Accomodation and so glad we did. They look after your every need and genuinely aim to please. Room was brand new and very well thought out. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace before a two minute stroll into town and sampling one or two beverages at The Old Mill. Pitlochry is a lovely town and we will return but only if we can stay at Westlands. Breakfast was the best and freshest buffet ever sampled and we say that as ex Guest House proprietors with 15 years experience. Can’t wait for our return visit. Thank you all for your extremely high quality of service.

Surprisingly, this store has been around for more than 300 years. Very attractive to silver hair people from all directions Stayed for 3 nights and got along well with grandparents The price is right, it is a very good experience. This hotel is in a great location, very close to the riverside and the museum...

My wife and I arrived with our friends from Ayrshire, to a great welcome to what, in all our opinions, is by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever experienced, and are likely to ever experience again. David and his partner, were excellent hosts, with a wonderfully infectious sense of humour, which turned our overnight break, into a brilliant experience. The bedrooms were sumptuous, with almost a theatrical nod to the Downton Abbey era, but were equipped with every modern convenience you could think of, and were furnished with top quality, classy furniture, which was soooo comfortable. The super king bed and bedding were high end, and the bathroom and towels was 5 star quality. But it was the overall attention to detail, and the provision of countless items of thought, which just gave our stay that absolute WOW! factor, Fresh scones with jam and cream, shortbread, freshly ground coffee, and even one of those bottle stoppers for your own Champagne or Prosecco, to protect the fizz ! Breakfast was quite simply delicious. The amazing honey and mint fruit salad, followed by a variety of freshly cooked local products and freshly baked croissants, set us up royally for the day ahead. The situation of the The Townhouse overlooks a beautiful park, and is a short walk to the centre of town and local places of interest. There is parking to the rear of the building, with access to the property. We could go on and on about our experience here, but anyone reading this just has to put The Townhouse on their bucket list when looking for accommodation in this beautiful part fo Scotland. You will be blown away !!

The service of this hotel is very good. The owner even wrote a letter to the guests staying in the hotel. The hotel looks like a castle. According to the hotel staff, the hotel facilities are very historical. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat a full Scottish breakfast. The hotel parking is very convenient, just at the door. There are plenty of parking spaces, suitable for self-driving. There are no other facilities around the hotel, which is very suitable for accommodation on the way from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands.

Super friendly welcome from receptionist,think it may be Kerri,and everything was explained about the hotel which was really helpful after a long journey. We were on dinner,bed and breakfast rate and stayed 2 nights which was great value. Breakfast offering was excellent quality and piping hot and plenty of choice. Our dinners were the highlight of our holiday and easily the nicest food we had during our 2 weeks away-lamb and steak first night then fish and chips and chicken the second which were all well presented and tasted delicious. Rooms were spotlessly clean,bright and we had a lovely view over the equally spotless garden. Sad to leave but we will definitely come back and stay and it was nice to see hands on owners like Scott at reception checking his guests were all happy-a thing sadly not seen enough in hospitality these days. Thanks to you all!!

The surrounding grounds are quite attractive as is the hotel building. The gathering areas are also welcoming but the room accommodations are variable. Our room was comfortable and well-furnished but not so the room of our traveling companions. I'm basing my review only on our room. The beds were comfortable and everything worked. Had plenty of hot water for a shower and there were complimentary containers of shower products. A hot breakfast was available and there is plenty of parking on the grounds.

The response at check-in was very smooth and good. The room is clean and bright. I enjoyed the coffee. I will also use it next time.

We were in the annexe just across the car park at the back of the main building. There are 4 rooms there (2 up and 2 down). Our room was comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. You can take dogs with you in these rooms - we might do that next time. The restaurant and bar serve super food and drinks and cater for vegetarians. You can also take dogs with you in the restaurant; however, the tables are far enough apart that people who don't like dogs in dining areas shouldn't be inconvenienced. The breakfast options are extensive and delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night but wished it had been more.

The hotel is great, the service facilities are superb, the super five stars, the scenery is also very good, but the location is really hearty, no matter which way to the road conditions can scare you not to continue to open

This was our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last. Everything about our one night stay was perfect. The castle room was so comfortable, the spa was a delight and the Sandeman restaurant was a treat. The staff were beyond helpful and the surroundings were breathtaking. A very special stay in a special hotel.

The welcome was warm, the rooms spotless (the Ministers sudy, loved the room names), and the gardens amazing. A point worthy of consideration. We checked with the hotel in advance about the sample menu.” Advised that the chef was on holiday and the menu being market led could change and could not be confirmed. This sounded fair enough. On arrival, the menu hadn't changed other than a set three course meal at £75pp. However, this was also flexible. We did, however, find this to be a bit misleading. The service at dinner was first class. The presentation was perfect. The fresh produce was lovely but a bit overwhelmed by all the additional flavours. We were fortunate enough to meet several staff and family members (including Seumas and Seoras). All of them were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and welcome. This boutique hotel doesn't give you olives with your drinks. There is no air conditioning, safe in the room, turn down service or fridge to cool your snacks. This boutique hotel provides true Scottish hospitality at its absolute best. 'S math a rinn thu.

Booked a 2 night B&B stay in Superior King Room for birthday treat, £369. I enquired about disabled parking, was advised this was available but on a 1st come terms. Arrived and negotiated the car around a small badly laid out car park, with no designated disabled spaces. Had to leave and find on street parking. Enquired about this on arrival at reception, before reception could even answer me a nippy sweetie woman appeared like Mr Ben, to tell 'disabled customers don't like the car park as its on a slope and they can't safely get into their wheelchairs! Will the days of thinking it's only wheelchair users that are disabled ever end!? Stayed in room 105, with Hobbit Door. My partner had to duck everytime we went through it. Room was large but very dated and tired looking, we spent our stay listening to children race down the hall, our wardrobe shook and moved everytime. Room overlooked the busy noisy main road. One bed light and table lamp didn't work, 3 upholstered chairs were stained, dirty and in need of a vacuum, one was particularly dusty. On booking I requested a walk in showroom due to the reduced mobility, the bathroom had a bath with static shower head however it was a low bath with a good solid handrail. However there was a chip out of the bath which was rough to touch, huge chip out of the cistern. The shower non slip mat was filthy underneath, the sucker pads were ingrained with unknown muck and dirt, I'd hate to try to imagine what the dirt was. Shower head was very low, my partner couldn't fit under it, I'm a foot shorter than him and even I knocked my hands off the shower head when washing my hair. Good quality towels robes and shower shoes though and very hot radiator on the wall. Only one toilet roll for a two night stay. We had to ask for more. Breakfast quality, quantity and service was good. Fedback our views on comment card and to receptionist who presented as couldn't have cared less. For the price it was all poor value and quality, afraid Fishers may be still riding on former glory but there's a lot of competition for stays in Pitlochry now which highlights Fishers tiredness, jaded attitude and severe need for a major overhalll and modernisation. Nor sure where the photos submitted to TripAdvisor are from bur they are unidentifiable to our stay. Would not recommend for cost.

Lovely refurbished rooms. Very comfortable bed and great soundproofing between rooms. Rooms warm and peaceful. Rest of hotel warm and decor in Estate dining room and Breakfast room especially pleasing. Food very good indeed and not too expensive. Lovely little spa and swimming pool in building separate from hotel. Good sports facilities at lochside marina.

The service of the staff is good. The bathroom is large enough. It was good that it was geographically convenient. The cleaning was very clean.
