"Very nice hotel, clean, tidy and plenty of attentive staff. We used as a base for exploring Jersey so didn't really use the hotel facilities - except the breakfast which was excellent - although for us it would have been nice if breakfast had started a little earlier maybe 7:30am? (it ran from 8am to 10am which was OK). Late on the last evening when packing we found we couldn't open the room safe as it had malfunctioned, it was after 11pm, but it actually showed the hotel staff in a very good light as the receptionist tried her best to help, the restaurant manager said opening the safe was the priority, and eventually after about twenty minutes the porter did manage to open the safe (”mechanically” - but that's another story!), so all was good ...... the problem was the electronic device - hotel staff were excellent and problem was solved! Overall very good, would stay again."

"Had a lovely time - the room overlooking the bay provided the best view and it was a dream to wake up to the sound of waves every morning. Can't beat the location and there are several restaurants nearby as well as the hotels own which was really convenient for drinks in the evening and for a quick lunch between beach sessions. Everything was clean and quiet and service was friendly and even called to tell us our room was ready earlier than planned. "

"Very good service, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and the room service is also very good:
1. After each room cleaning, they will help fold the pajamas, replenish water and food, and leave the name of the cleaner
2. The front desk answered the phone very quickly. We encountered three problems, all of which were solved within 5 minutes.
3. The location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the bus station, behind is the city center (central market), and it is very close to all the Internet celebrity restaurants (except Oyster box and other restaurants on the beach)
4. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large, the facilities are new, especially the bathroom, the supporting facilities are sufficient and use Th White Company suits."

The Norfolk Lodge is one of the very few hotels offering a gym, a ”mini gym”. For me an essential on any trip. The mini gym offered some cardio equipment of which only 1-2 were working properly and a few very light weights.
Most disappointing was the extremely small single room, even smaller than in any (!) hotel in Japan's metropolis earlier this year. The smallest ever, that small that it was impossible to open my suitcase anywhere except on the bed!
The breakfast was disappointing, too. Allways the same products, no variety at all. Luckily, there was at least gluten free muesli (for s.o. with coeliac disease) and gluten free toast on demand.
Nevertheless, for instance only tin fruits and one sort of cheese etc.
Positive, however, was the hotel's greatest asset, the staff!
Very friendly and caring people, young, open-minded and very diverse from all abroad.
As St. Hélier or Jersey in general are very expensive during the summer season, I won't complain about the price although it was very expensive (cheepest I could find was about 170 - 175 € per night)."

The Norfolk Lodge is one of the very few hotels offering a gym, a ”mini gym”. For me an essential on any trip. The mini gym offered some cardio equipment of which only 1-2 were working properly and a few very light weights.
Most disappointing was the extremely small single room, even smaller than in any (!) hotel in Japan's metropolis earlier this year. The smallest ever, that small that it was impossible to open my suitcase anywhere except on the bed!

I appreciated the location and the cleanliness of the environment. However, the service did not meet my expectations. We experienced an issue with the staff regarding the breakfast rule, which I found unfair, especially considering my positive experiences at other hotels. Based on this, I am uncertain about returning to this branch. I would like to note, however, that the Heathrow branch of this same hotel provided excellent service during my stay in December 2025.

Beautiful grounds and welcoming staff. Check-in was smooth, and breakfast was tasty and varied. The y staff were also very attentive.
I didn’t try the set dinner menu,. Ordered from snack menu which was very carb-heavy and on the pricey side for what it was. Room was comfortable but carpets decor and bathroom dated, which was clear from photos and other reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise.
Unfortunately, there was used plastic film left on the bathroom floor on arrival indicating it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Otherwise, for the price and the grounds, you can’t really complain, especially if you’re after a quiet place to unwind

Very good living experience, although the location is a bit far from the city center, but the price is also corresponding to the affordable point, and the facilities, environment, service are good, there is a supermarket next to it, the sea is opposite the road, very quiet. Also bring a bar. Recommended ～

Hotel was clean and conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Be aware that the extra beds are very short, so if your child is tall, they may be hanging over the end!

Guest UserThis is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. There is an up hill walk to the hotel I have a knee problems but I made it in 5 minutes. At the front there is a number 15 bus that take you to the airport and to the capital. It also has room for cases. It runs every 15 minuted during the day. Breakfast with a view is wonderful. The one thing that I would like is a walk in shower anf that would make it perfect.

Guest UserGreat hotel. The location is superb and we very glad to have a sea view. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but was good quality. The room was spacious and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and helpful, especially towards my five year old son. Due to a travel problem we ended up having to check out a few hours late and the staff were very accommodating.
