The swimming pool and sauna is a real one , especially in a period of heat .
I advise this hotel for a pleasant moment.
Only bemol, the aspirator in the rooms all morning by household women prevents the morning grace but well apart from this, you need to do the household well if you want a quality of cleanliness.

"I had a very enjoyable experience at the Jost Hotel. The stay was excellent value for money as the self-checkin process was very fast and easy to manage. Moreover the hotel and the room itself was super clean and all the amenities mentioned were available. They have an excellent restaurant on premises and there was a disco/music night on the day we stayed there, so the vibe was very nice in the hotel. The hotel is located right in the center of the city.
Overall really happy with my stay. Excellent value for money. Will surely stay here again if I ever visit Le Havre."

"We enjoyed this excellent and stylish, romantic hotel located in a rustic park with trees in the beautiful Normandy near Honfleur and Etretat, we felt home immediately and have been able to make good use of the The room was air-conditioned, room with shower and bathroom.
Breakfast was very varied with beautiful local products and the gastronomic kitchen was excellent with beautiful varied fish and meat dishes including cheeses and desserts. All this, complemented with personal and customer-friendly service and excellent wine arrangement and a live-playing pianist, made our stay complete.
The hotel has taken our heart and will certainly come back here next year."

"Hotel service is very good, according to my request to arrange a Unicom room, convenient to take care of children. The only fly in the ointment is that the SPA is closed too early, and it is closed at 7:00 in the evening. I was going to arrange a SPA at night but I didn't arrange it. Overall a good choice for travel near Normandy."

"Great location! Just step outside, and there's a McDonald's right across the street. The hotel is also opposite a beautifully converted warehouse shopping center. The rooms are very clean, but one thing to note is that housekeeping is only done every five days instead of daily. Overall, a great choice for a stay in Le Havre!"

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, the old town is within a few steps, and the train station is within walking distance. The interior of the hotel combines tradition and modernity. The swimming pool on the lower floor of the lobby is a highlight of the hotel, with moderate water temperature and a quiet environment. The hotel is affiliated with Marriott Group and the service is in place. After the guests check in, the front desk of the hotel must be praised by the non-luggage service staff accompanying the room. The service has not been experienced by the domestic five-star hotel. Breakfast Western style, small and exquisite environment, the only regret is that there is no Asian variety.

SShawnHere's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant.
Pros:
- Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town.
- Helpful staff
- Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm
- Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit)
- Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub
- Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags
- Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces.
Cons:
- Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross.
- Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in.
- Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed.
- Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high.
- Parking spaces were limited.
- Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from.
- Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

If you're going to Caen, it's a decent place to stay, but Caen is a rather ordinary city, so it's optional. The hotel itself is relatively new, but the facilities are basic.

OOzzpomThis was a wonderful stay. The location was great, very close to a supermarket as well as a petrol station. The very first night they recommended a fantastic local bistro. We had a wonderful meal. The room was clean, it was lovely and cool. The AC was very, very welcome because we were here during quite the heatwave. Yes okay it's summer but, oh my god, 35 degrees Celsius is a lot to deal with. Didier and Lara were incredibly welcoming. The breakfasts were utterly incredible. We felt incredibly spoiled. We had delicious, fresh pastries. We had beautiful yoghourts. We had lovely fruit purées. We had poached eggs. Nothing was too much trouble. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. The pink grapefruit juice was freshly squeezed. It was really really delicious!
What was really nice is that we stayed for three nights. What was really lovely was that we'd come back each day and our room had been tidied and the beds had been made. We had always turned off the air conditioning so it was really nice to come home to our accommodation. The AC was on so the room was already lovely and cool by the time we got in.
I would happily stay there again. Wonderful host, friendly, not in your face, just really really welcoming, and we would absolutely stay there again.

SShawnWe booked this hotel because it was in a château and it looked romantic and unique .However there were many details lacking overall. Firstly avoid the restaurant at all costs even though the three course meal was only €29. The food preparation and quality was terrible. Please see attached photos. The salmon I had was overcooked from frozen salmon and the greens were likely frozen greens that were boiled to mush and no longer green. The risotto was just rice coated in some weird cream and had some tasteless pieces of chicken slapped on top. We did not finish the food.
They clearly also need more staff as our receptionist was doubling up as a waitress, and we noticed that there were some waits and gaps in service.
The room was compact and clean, but the details were lacking. For example, the fixtures and appliances were the cheapest variety possible and didn’t match the Luxe feel that the hotel is going for. The location is slightly out of town and a 20 minute walk to all the main sites in the old town.
The grounds were tidy and very pretty in photos.

GGuest UserIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

GGuest UserThis was our first stay with B&B Hotels, and the first of 5 bidet hotel stays during a two week road trip around France.
The B&B hotel in Alençon stood out for several reasons. The availability of EV charging stations was a real bonus and made our journey much easier. The staff on site were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, quite a contrast to our experience of many of the other budget hotels.
Staff suggested we ate in neighbouring restaurant where we got a 20% discount. Even though it had gone 9pm. Restaurant were happy to accept us and our discount was applied.
Breakfast was another highlight: hot, well-prepared, and consistently replenished, which made for a great start to each day. Our room was also noticeably more spacious than the one we had in Toulouse, and the shower was excellent, with plenty of space, strong water pressure, and reliably hot water.
What really made this stay memorable, however, was the staff. Across all five B&B Hotels we stayed in the week, the team here in Alençon were by far the most engaged, attentive, and customer-focused.

MmarcryuThe location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel.
This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat.
We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us.
Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.

Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking)
The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️
Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.
