The hotel has two buildings that are about one block away from each other. The satellite (maybe newer?) building has no front desk staff. So when you need anything, including check in/out and store luggage, you'd have to walk (i.e. dragging your bags) for a block. While both buildings are about a block from the train station, you do need to walk more than two blocks if you are in the other building. Still, not too bad. The staff is professional and nice. The rooms are small but typical by European standards. Doesn't bother me much a a solo traveler without too much luggage. But the bathroom is so small that I can't sit straight on the toilet because it's too close to the wall. The buildings are old, but the interior seems to just gone through a complete renovation. Very modern and new, which is nice. Someone mentioned curtains. It actually has motorized shutters that completely shut off light. So dark that I almost overslept through my appointment. The trick is that it's controlled by a switch not very obvious. I needed a cleaning staff's help to find it. Breakfast costs 11 euros. Don't know what's like. Probably better off just go with the bakery next to the main building. The deal breaker is its terrible WiFi service. They use a browser log in service that can't seems to maintain connection. At times, I had to log back on every other minute! To be honest, I would consider they don't have a working WiFi service in that condition. I saw someone complained about it before. If they don't bother fix it, I will not stay there, period.

Situé très proche de la gare et donc du métro, l'hôtel est idéalement situé. Pour avoir dormit dans certains campaniles ont est plus sur le standing d'un Ibis style que d'un campanile ”classique” donc une bonne surprise. Rien à dire sur la chambre et la literie qui était très bien. Aucun bruit ou nuisance à signaler. C'est donc un sans fautes pour un prix raisonnable.

The interior of the room is simple, but spacious and comfortable. I think this is a good value hotel because the cost of accommodation is reasonable and the location is good. Thanks to the kitchen, it is very convenient for children with small children. We have all the cooking utensils and tableware, but please note that there is no salt and pepper oil as you wish (not related to the hotel’s assessment), but if you save a small bag of salt and pepper for your inflight meal, you can cook it yourself. it works).

Ayant été incapable de changer mon billet de train par internet, les employés m'ont aidé avec une très grande amabilité. Je suis une personne âgée et j'ai beaucoup apprécié leur attention. De façon générale, les 2 cousins à l'accueil ont été très agréables. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel.

I don't look for luxury when I go to this kind of hotel where prices are very affordable but to have made some of these first class Rennes chantage is a disaster That's a gentle but just person who welcomes us the strict minimum the guy who makes his job smile would be too demanding ... But well let's go we're here to sleep finally to try to sleep .... Because night a night night noise night people stayed in common places and the telephones that sound and we talk as if we are not alone the true bordel ... The room, good bed in itself it has been, but very small even not a table and chairs nothing the bathroom then between the toilet paper distributor that is shot the ground must be peetered back to take pq and ba shower not great I saw a answer earlier or Mr said the shower pipe linked to the lavabo was common in ba hotell may be but it remains very cons because we don't You can't necessarily close the shower garden and so we put water everywhere and to run the whole after my husband and well I had the right to 2 min of hot water ! The next morning breakfast openly buffet at 5.50 e Yes ba to review things to eat bread with milk, bread and bricks there is nothing more no cookies no pasta to bake no honey shortly all for not too much to take the head in this hotel I really don't recommend it

Managed to find the hotel easily enough (thanks to GPS) and parked outside to check-in before accessing the car park, which was beautifully cool (at least compared with the temperatures outside). The room was a standard Mercure affair - reasonably spacious and comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well. Breakfast was good. Location reasonably good for exploring the city.

I was on a roadtrip with my friend through Normandy, and our final hotel destination was going to be Kyriad Prestige in Saint Malo. We booked via booking.com and arrived early evening. Upon check-in met by kind staff - who mentioned we needed to pay upon check-in for the full stay. We were surprised, as this was not mentioned anywhere in our booking confirmation and we mentioned we would prefer to pay upon check-out. Then the mood of the staff changed and we were told that we had no other option than to pay. We were taken aback by this attitude, but opted to pay. We were tired after a long day behind the wheel. Our double room did have twin beds - but faced a loud street - so we were given a different room upon request. Here the staff was helpful. The new room faced the pool - also meaning it had a terrace straight below the only window with ongoing noise from guests. Most annoying was the air conditioning system which presented itself with a not so nice high pitch all day and night. It was warm those days and we closed the window and relied on the aircon - except - this needed activation by reception staff and could only be set at 22 degrees (not much help if you need cool air). For various reasons, we did not feel comfortable at the Kyriad Prestige and as we had a flexible booking, we opted to check out early and find another hotel. Now the fun began. We checked with staff in the evening to confirm that it was ok to check out the next day without suffering any additional costs. This was confirmed - we just needed to make sure to check out before noon. Next morning we checked out - and had stayed there 1 night (out of a total of 5). We asked to get the other 4 nights refunded, as we had pre-paid. This was a HUGE fuss - and caused a lot of heated debate - as the staff told us this was only possible if we gave them a notice from our banks, stating our account numbers, swift codes etc. This is by the way against the Kyriads own terms and conditions and not in accordance with the EU GDPR rules of data protection. Staff kept ademant that a refund could not be made via our credit cards and that only the supervisor could decide on refunds. Now this was a Sunday, and the supervisor was going to be in on Monday - so we said we would return Monday to speak with her. Until then, we asked for and received confirmation, that the Kyriad would not charge us for more than the 1 night we stayed there. On the Monday morning, checking our credit card accounts, it became obvious that the Kyriad did in fact charge us for the whole 5 nights. We made our way to Kyriad to talk to the supervisor and where fully ”armed” with terms and conditions, regulations and documentation evidence. When we met the supervisor, she greeted us friendly and professionally. She mentioned that she new our case and that we needed a refund for 4 nights. Not a problem and the refund could be made directly to our credit card. The supervisor explained that sometimes the staff woul

We very much liked this hotel but want to warn others not to book a terrace room at an extortionate extra cost. We thought we would treat ourselves to the suite with the terrace - this was a big mistake. The suite and the hotel were lovely and I would stay again. The position is excellent as the hotel is very central yet tucked just away from the main noise of the town. The room was lovely - air conditioned, clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was good and the evening meal in the restaurant also very nice. The problem was the awful terrace which we had paid extra for. Whilst it was a good size it had absolutely no view - just of the high walls of other buildings which were a few metres away! I think the bins or kitchen doors were at the bottom. We went to the desk to complain and were told that as it was after 4pm we couldn't change rooms - the staff were not very interested. I asked whether all the terrace rooms had this view and was told yes!!! All terrace rooms were at the back of the hotel - looking at walls. I was appalled that the hotel is charging so such extra for these terraces - they really are just smoking areas (a very plain table and chairs were provided with an ash tray). If you look at the picture on the website it implies a pretty, airy terrace. Whilst I didn't expect to see the sea from my terrace - I did think the view might be better than a close up of some plain walls. I am very upset that we paid so much for this and want to warn others not to be tempted to book one!

For a wedding in the region we had booked 1 night by Trip Advisor at Hotel des Landes le Rheu. He didn't want to hear anything but we couldn't sleep and that's why we paid the 54.07€ cash!!! This situation is unacceptable and I ask you to review the operation of this hotel and make the reimbursement of my reservation

The hotel is a modern hotel, which is renovated or very recently, and offers a relaxing and relaxing stay. The area is quiet despite the first impression. The breakfast is well provided and especially mainly with products from the region, so it is good to note, of the real pressed orange juice, and of course Bretagne forces you will have the right to four quarters and crepes home.. very nice.. If you are a military (National Marine) or a military family, please make sure you will have a small reduction.. In conclusion for a next stay in Brest, we will return to it !!

We stayed in a first-floor room with a little terrace of our own. Was idyllic on that terrace except for when the air conditioning unit on the adjacent roof was humming and dumping hot air on us. Such a shame because everything else here was first class. The staff. The restaurant. The courtyard bar. The location near one of the best wine and food streets in Rennes. Absolutely would stay here again but might not bother with the terrace room next time.

Stayed for 3 nights in September can not rate this hotel highly enough. Made extra special by the warm and friendly front of house team but this also carried through to restaurant, bar staff and chambermaids, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely views over the sea, nice spa and gardens to relax in and good location.

Business brought me to Saint-Malo but what a pleasure to come back after days of meetings to such a beautiful place. This was my first visit. The staff could not have been more hospitable and consistently provided service at the highest level. The Cap Horn restaurant was also spectacular with beautiful dishes and excellent service, perfect for hosting business dinners. I look forward to returning for pleasure and bringing my family. Thanks so much to the amazing team at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes!

Fantastic site for a hotel overlooking the Rance estuary with views across to St Malo. It is a little tricky on arrival. The entrance being through an arch and guarded by a remotely controlled bollard and then a very narrow descent to the parking. The welcome was good with the voituriers awaiting us and the car was parked for us. Reception was friendly and welcoming. The room had a wonderful view and was comfortable if simple. Dinner in the main restaurant was slightly unnerving in that the waiters were moving around at breakneck speed, dashing up and down the stairs and generally being hyperdynamic. The food was fine but probably not of Michelin rosette standard. The meal was spoiled however by the tension. If we wanted Fast Food we could have gone to McDos. It has all the potential but ”Calm down dear!”

There's a short walk from railway station to this hotel, and again a short walk from the hotel to tje old town or to most of the places on central Rennes. We had a beautiful, modern, clean and well-equipped room on 8th floor with a very nice view. Service at the reception is excellent and the breakfast exceeded all expectations. There's a nice little spa in the hotel and one hour visit to the was included to our room price. Quiet and tranquil. The lobby area is beautiful with a lot of greenery and nice decor.

It's not amazing, but it's good enough. Our family room was very nice and specious. It's also easy to come with the car, although their parking is very limited and small. But all in all it works well for the price. If the price of the room makes sense to you and you don't mind not being within walking distance from the historical centre, it's a good choice.

Breakfast was tasty and varied. Coffee a bit weak. Check-in and out easy and fast. We wanted wine on Sunday evening but the bar was closed and one of the guys at reception offered to pour us glasses, which was nice. 2mn walk from Rennes train station / metro and bus. A fair few restaurants around and shopping centres nearby. Historic centre is only about 10mn walk. Didn't use the spa or pool so can't comment but they both looked attractive and welcoming. Few minus points: no milk in the room, only a few sachets of instant coffee. Air con a bit troublesome so hot in room but could open the two large windows so no biggie.

We had an awful experience staying here during the holidays. First off they have NO services - they do not help with bags (my husband was very sick and they did not care). They have no room service even though they have 2 restaurants in the hotel (how hard can that be), they give you one small bottle of water in the room and would NOT bring up any additional and told us to come get it from lobby. There is no mini bar - basically zero amenities. How this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel?? This needs to change as they are charging premium prices for ZERO service. They also have no shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in the bathrooms and don’t even have it for sale, claiming the one bar of soap “does all”. Even the likes of Holiday Inn, Motel 6 etc have basic toiletries and more amenties at less than half the price of what they charge. Worst of all they refused to call us a taxi to leave - the front desk handed me a list of phone numbers knowing we did not speak French. We had heavy bags, a small child and my husband could barely breathe. Just awful.

En voyage d'affaires, par hasard le 14 février, toute l'équipe a mis les bouchées doubles pour satisfaire tous les amoureux (ou pas) avec un delicieux chocolat en coeur à l'arrivée. Equipe très attentive, dynamique, souriante, au petits soins de ses clients, habitués ou pas mais on sentait un coté très chaleureux des Bretons !!! Et ils savent mettre l'accent sur cette force bretonne : les célébrités bretonnes tapissent les murs, T-Shirts avec citations clins d'oeil bretons (je vous laisse découvrir), far breton et crepes au ptit dej, photo panoramiques dans les chambres de paysages bretons. Restaurant délicieux.J'ai adoré ! Super aussi la réception sur la table, ca fait très, j'arrive à la maison et non pas à l'hotel. Franchement chapeau à toute l'équipe et bravo pour toutes vos idées. J'avais passé la semaine dans d'autres Novotel et n'ai rien ressenti de tout cela :) UN GRAND MERCI et bravo. Kenavo. A une prochaine j'espère.

I stayed here for 4 nights while here for work. I found the hotel to be quiet and comfortable with adequate air conditioning and good WiFi. Everything worked and was clean and maintained, although the rooms were clearly old and rather soulless. Breakfast was great in places (freshly squeezed orange juice, leaf tea!) and not so good in others (cooked breakfast was well below average), but if you are happy with continental style food then you will be happy. The staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful too. Finally, the location is excellent, with so many places just a short walk away

Very nice Hotel in all aspects ! The combination of the Thalassa treatments and the dietetic is great, very relaxing and ”healthy”. The staff is professional and polite and very kind. Very thoughtful in many respects. Regarding the dietetic side you will be coatched personnally and my wife and myself, Adeline did a very good job, daily talk about your eating/drinking habits, very nice and with staying results (lost 3kgs in 6 days...). When it comes to the treatments, had a two specials treats from Frank, he has magic hands when it comes to massage, so I will perceive it as somebody who is not to kean for this type of ”exercixe”. To conclude this is a superb stay and has staying effects....don't hesitate !

Finally, breakfast is served only until 9 a.m. in the week, except for Breton holiday weeks (both worse for holidaymakers from other regions like me ...). We originally booked a family room for three nights and let the hotel know that we had a wheelchair user in our group. The manager made contact to let us know that the family room wasn't suitable, as it was on the first floor and there was no lift. He suggested we book a wheelchair accessible room and an adjoining room, which would cost €40 more. Maybe the details were lost in translation, but the rooms cost over €50 more, per night, and they weren't adjoining, they were next door to each other. The wheelchair accessible room was very small, the bed was right next to the door. My daughter's wheelchair actually blocked the door when she was in bed. I stayed in the room with her. The sliding door to the bathroom was impossible for my daughter to close. Our room was next to the entrance to the swimming pool, on the third night the noise from the filter system woke me up. I complained about the noise, but was told nothing could be done about it. The receptionist asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I didn't want to disturb my daughter. A sleepless night followed. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant on the second night of our stay. Roast chicken was the main course. It was very disappointing, chicken breast on the bone, a tomato cut in half and watery boiled potatoes. I asked for a small portion for my daughter, she received an adult portion. It was one of the most uninspired restaurant meals I have ever eaten. With dessert and wine, our meal for three came to €96. When we checked out I reiterated my complaint about the noise. The receptionist apologised that there were no other wheelchair rooms available, even though I had been offered one the night before. She said the rooms and breakfasts had been paid in full, and I owed for the dinner. At this stage I presumed that the extra €40 was being deducted. I paid for the meal, got my receipt and we left. When I checked my bank balance later an extra payment of over €150 was taken. No mention of this was made at checkout, why say my bill was paid in full when it wasn't? We felt robbed, to put it mildly. This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean but very small and outdated, they are not worth the nightly rates. The wheelchair accessible room is not fit for purpose, in my opinion. The food at breakfast was good, but dinner was overpriced, mundane and indifferent. A very disappointing stay.

Wir sind aufgrund eines Fußballspiels des örtlichen Vereins im Aiden Hotel abgestiegen. Der Empfang war freundlich - es gibt gibt allerdings keinen Rezeptionsschalter sondern einen Stehtisch und einen Esstisch, an dem die Mitarbeiter arbeiten - ungewöhnlich, aber zweckmäßig. Sowohl der Mitarbeiter beim Check-In als auch der Mitarbeiter beim Check-Out war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ebenso wie die Reinigungsdamen. Das Auto konnten wir in der öffentlichen Tiefgarage neben dem Hotel (ca. 1 min Fußweg) abstellen - das kostete uns etwa 14 € für die ganze Nacht. Um das Hotel tummeln sich abends komische Gestalten - das Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Bahnhof. Das Frühstück kostete 18 € und ist m. E. zu teuer. Es gab zwar Rührei, Bacon und Würstchen, jedoch war zu wenig Baguette da, die Mineralwasserflaschen waren leer und eine laktosefreie Milch war ebenfalls nicht vorhanden - wir wurden auf die Mandelmilch hingewiesen, die verfügbar war. Das wichtigste Argument, welches für dieses Hotel spricht, ist das Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im 3. Obergeschoss, welches durch einen Aufzug zu erreichen war. Das Zimmer war vollumfassend digitalisiert und die Beleuchtung, die Klimaanlage u. v. m. konnten durch das Tablett bedient werden. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, es gab zwei Kopfkissen pro Person und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Passende Einrichtungsgegenstände und Accessoires rundeten das Gesamtpaket ab. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Sollten wir wieder ein Fußballspiel in Lorient besuchen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

We stayed at La Marebaudiere in August 2023 for a couple of nights whilst on a roadtrip down to Bordeaux. The hotel has it's own car park and is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main area of Vannes, including all the main tourist sites, restaurants and shops (between 5 and 15 mins to get to most places). The room was clean and tastefully decorated with good facilities, but only had a small velux window. This didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the time. The aircon was a little noisy and needs attention. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold buffet food and was perfectly adequate for what we needed and there are so many restaurants just a short walk away. Ideal as a stopover if you're visiting Vannes for a couple of days and don't want to be right in the centre of town. Vannes itself is stunning and there is so much to see - would highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay, the wellness area is worth a detour, swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna only cost 8 euros. In addition, the apartment is very bright and practical, and I appreciate the connected TV and the USB socket integrated in the bedroom light. I will definitely be back as soon as I get to Vannes! ! Also thank the hotel staff for their kindness.

The rooms are spacious. The staff was kind. It was good because breakfast was on. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit.
