I love this boutique hotel so much. - Perfect location in the old town and close to the Mala hotpot that I love. - Very close to Didi taxi drop off/pick up point so I can go to Jade dragon snow mountain conveniently including from Lijiang railway station. - Room is vey very clean and big. - Perfect WIFI provided. - Mattress and Blanket are so good which made me sleep very well. - Special thanks to Ms. Cassie. She give us the useful information, such as restaurant, travel check point, Jade dragon snow mountain, Lijiang old town. I appreciate her so much. She has wonderful service mind. I promise that I will back to this hotel again!!

The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes walking to kunming railway station, and very easy to find food, convinient store, and near to city centre and some tourist attraction. The room clean, huge and complete amenities.

At first it was a little confusing because the hotel’s lobby located at 6th floor. The english is not so good (as usual) but the communication can be done via translator. The front desk are very helpful and will try their best to communicate despite the language barrier. The room is clean, good view. I had my friend booking with no windows room and it’s actually decent too. They actually have windows just that it faced inside the building. Not bad and not as claustrophobic as i thought it would. It’s located along ninping street, although it’s felt like on the end side of the road. So you need to walk quite a bit yo the centre side of the road. The gym is very basic probably just 3 equipments at level 6. The laundry is also at level 6. In general i would recommend. I have no complaint for my one night stay. Love it. The photo attached are my room and the view from the windows.

The hotel lobby was pleasant, with a reading corner. We were given a free room upgrade; the room was clean, spacious and had a huge firm bed (good back support). There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

It is in the middle of the town, very near to everything! Especially for Muslim, it is nearby Shuncheng mosque and a street full of halal food! Very very recommended. If you are wondering about bidet, yes you are right. No bidet unfortunately. But at least they have free washing machine/dryer and iron! If you are waiting for a midnight flight, you can check out at noon, have lunch at the halal stores nearby Shuncheng mosque and pray there. Then you will have more than enough time to stroll around Kunming Old Street which is a few metres away!

The owner and staffs are very helpful even before you stay. Gave good advice for the trip. Clean accommodations, good view rooms, looking out to see Yulong Snow Mountain view as shown in the picture. Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. There’re a hand -drawn butter tea from Tibet prepare for guests, and you don’t miss afternoon tea was really delicious. I highly recommended this place! I love to play with little zhōngqiū as well, she’s very friendly 😁

Hotel is very closed to railway station within 10 minutes walk.The room is large and has full modern facilities. Reeptions are very hospitality although they can not speak English well. Breakfast is cheses style but delicious. Map showed in Trip.com is not exactly correct and the hotel's name shoul be chanded as VX hotel. Foreign tourists can not read the name in chinese.

This is a well priced option in the city. It is about a 20-minute walk from the main Kunming railway station, so for those arriving at Kunming airport late when the metro has stopped running, you can take the airport bus to the railway station and walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a short 5 min walk away from the nearest metro station Tangzixiang, which is a convenient interchange station. There are only a few food options near the hotel but a walk to the Tangzixiang area throws up more. No amenities like a pool etc - typical of an Ibis but for the price paid, no complaints. Did not tru their breakfast so cannot comment. Night front desk staff can be a little rushed despite being professional.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Jen Shangri-La. The hotel is beautiful, with all the amenities. We used the pool one of the days and it is one of the best city hotel pools we’ve been to. The gym is HUGE and fully equipped. The breakfast caters to all tastes, though it has a very strong Chinese bias, as is expected. It is very well situated with a metro station next to it, and one of the best shopping centres 15 minutes walking (full of great restaurants).

Hotel ammenties are good and the room is spacious. . Hotel is located very close to train station. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hotel staff Mr Jesse helped me with Tour arrangements and he communicated promptly. Really appreciate that. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection. The staff always offered to make coffee for me when I stepped into the restaurant. Highly recommended hotel stay for all.

I am writing to share our gratitude following our recent stay at Novotel Kunming City Center. We were delighted to discover the hotel’s modern facilities and fresh ambiance, which certainly contributed to a memorable experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, I would like to extend a special thank you to Noya for going above and beyond to assist us. Her knowledge and recommendations for local attractions greatly enriched our visit. Additionally, we appreciated the hotel’s convenient location near the MRT and shopping center, making our exploration of the area effortless. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. 1 night stay at spacious 2 double beds room. Each bed can fit 2 medium sized adults. 2 beds fit 4 adults. 30mins smooth ride from Kunming Changshui International Airport. Centrally located. Huge clean beautiful hotel. Reach hotel abt 9am and hotel reception was very kind and helpful. Staff can converse simple English. I was lucky they allow early check in. Wifi strength in hotel is low so you will need to have prep your own data arrangement from ur country. Tv channels are limited to chinese programmes. No netflix. Room view is city and the surrounding building light up at night. Night view is nice. We left the window open as outside air is more cooling. Its december and temp is mostly 10deg and below. Generally no bidets in toilets in China. No halal food in hotel. But just 20mins walk along Nanping Pedestrian street you can find halal food at the muslim community near Shuncheng street. Theres also an acient mosque called Shuncheng Mosque. PreBook trip.com airport transfer at 50sgd. Big 6 seater mpv. Driver assigned was professional and very punctual. Hassle free and highly recomend.

Excellent location and excellent service. If you need to catch an early flight in or out of Kunming, I highly recommend this property as they provide free drop off and pick up from airport.

Excellent service from a top class hotel. Most notable were service staff Suri and Jason when we arrived early in the morning, tired from a long flight. They were flexible in terms of early check-in availability and helping us settled in quickly. Also special mention to Luffy and his colleagues who sorted out our WiFi connectivity issues even after his working hours. Facilities like the gym, indoor swimming pool were great, as you would expect from a Sofitel. All in our family enjoyed our stay very much.

Grand Hyatt is strategically located in Kunming city, it has an underground access to metro and a walk link to shopping mall. The room is spacious and toilet is well designed. In-house movies and tv channels are plenty to choose. The hotel’s facilities such as indoor pool, gym and steam room are clean and usable. Price is a bit high, as our room does not cover breakfast. Suggestion:- - provide some Chinese tea bag - if room was booked with kids, pre-prepared extra towel and toiletries will leave a personalised impression to hotel guests - liaison with shopping mall not to close the gateway to hotel access link too early when the mall is closing at the end of day, otherwise hotel shoppers have to walk around big round the building to return.

A very old hotel, very small TV (guess is a 21') given the room size ration. Light switches are not centralised, need to walk around the whole room to off all lights. Requested for high floor in reservation but was assigned lower. Was woken up by car horns around 7+am, requested for higher floor room the next day but given a 'roll eye' attitude. Disappoitment for a Grand Park group.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Kunming City Center. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable environment to relax after a long day. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. Overall, a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Kunming!

I enjoyed the hotel stay a lot. Beautiful architecture, large breakfast selection, and you just can’t go wrong with a large hotel. My tip to other Travellers who are looking for a luxury experience, please don’t go for the up and coming avant garde room designs that seem to be popular in Lijiang. Pros: 1. Economies of scale, rooms are of a high standard. Heating, air-conditioning all work fine. You’ll realize it’s a problem with the boutique hotels who are at the same price point 2. Breakfast begins at 6:30am - great for when you want to start your day early. 3. They had beautiful black swans and offer free activities like kayaking alongside them. Cons: 1. The boutique hotels has personalized services compared to large hotels. However, it’s not important for me.

Super love the ancient 古镇 feel of this hotel room, and its proximity and link through a back door to Lijiang Ancient Town. Service is excellent where the hotel staff delivered medicine and other amenities request where required. Breakfast is excellent too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang!

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

Hotel staff very professional and helpful. They definitely makes your day more pleasant! Room is clean and modern . Amenities and facilities are very good. I stayed 3 nights and we are very happy . There’s laundry facilities if you need , very near eel to Lijiang Oldtown and the fantastic scenic Black Dragon Park to catch your sunrise view. Truly a 5 diamonds jewel !!!

Beautiful hotel with excellent scenery of jade dragon snow mountain, within walking distance of 1+km to Shuhe Old Town. Room a little old, but overall stay is pleasant!

Villa is very spacious, hotel’s environment is nice and quiet. Staffs are friendly, responsive and professional. By car, approximately 15 mins to Lijiang Ancient Town, 30 mins to Railway station, 40 mins to Yulong snow mountain. One of the room has the amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Can take Didi from the side road, not necessary to take buggy to the main lobby. As the place is huge, buggy might take a while to arrive. House-keeping staffs have initiative. The toilet light was faulty and couldn’t be turned off and the drainage system in the sinks and bathroom wasn’t draining the waste water fast enough. When I returned to the villa in the evening, they were fixed even before I informed house keeping.

Highly recommended hotel if you want to be in the ancient city and not too far away from the main road. Personalised butler service with 小勇 was great! WeChat group was set up before arrival and he helped with arranging the free transport from Lijiang train station to 南门1号 where he is there with trolley to help us with the luggages as the road in the ancient city is bumpy. Super grateful for great service where he went above and beyond working hours to fix up our needs and also introduce scenic routes within the ancient city and recommending restaurants and shopping tips around. He also helped to book our tickets to 玉龙雪山 and 丽江千古情 show. We all loved the animal interaction at the hotel. Hotel has a 1 year plus samoey mixed golden dog name xixi which is friendly and playful. 2 alpacas, brown one is male and white one is female who is more shy. 2 rabbits and 2 peacocks. There are washing machines and dryer for ur laundry needs too. 2 game station. Gym. Library. Pool table. Tea houses. KTV room was good! Tea break and breakfast was also nice. The flat white was legit.

The resort is nicely built and designed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The breakfast was great wide range of foods, Chinese and western. Fruits were aplenty, complimentary bottled waters are replenished daily. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too soft to my liking. The room itself is a bit dated, front door is not properly aligned and closing it need to push harder. The cleaning person were not thorough enough, while the black marbled floor is clean, the carpet could not be said so as there were stains and foods stuff sticking to the carpet from previous customers.

The welcome fruit plate is so healthy and delicious . We were surprised by the spectacular view of YuLong Snow Mountain right in front of the room. The room is so spacious that we laid down two large and one small luggage without any movement issue. Also not to mention about interior design is so cosy and comfortable. Instant hot water during shower, sufficient number of power socket, smart toilet bowl and self service free laundry machines were available for our need. This hotel also serve healthy, balance diet and Yunan caffe for breakfast. We thank you to front desk manager, Miss Xiao for her best efforts and arrangements. This is the best hotel in Lijiang that we stay so far. I strongly recommend to visitor that plan to have a short stay in Lijiang and wanted to go other places in the next morning.

LOVE OUR STAY HERE! The staffs were helpful and we were gifted to many gifts. Door gifts for the kids which was really thoughtful and also parting gifts. We wished our stay was longer. My kids love the room so much especially the small outdoort bath, they called pool. Eveb after check out, they still asked if we have reached destonation safely. In Lijiang now and still thinking about the hotel. Thank you for such a memorable stay in Dali. Hope to stay there again!

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

I had enjoyed my stay at Dali Ancient Luchun Hotel extremely much due to the excellent service. They really weren’t lying about the Haidilao-style service.  Their front desk personnel manning the Wechat (慕雅) was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to my requests. The lobby staff were also very helpful in delivering stuff to my room and when I was carrying luggages, they ran forward and assisted me immediately.  The services at this hotel were also unique and special: warm milk delivery daily (so that you can sleep) and free pick-up to and from the Ancient City and also to the airport/railway.  Nearby (10 minutes walk) there is also street food that tastes amazing and is value for money.  Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for stellar service and helpful staff and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Dali.  我非常喜欢入住大理麓椿花园酒店，他们提供的优质服务真的名不虚传，确实有海底捞式服务的水准。 前台负责微信客服的慕雅对我的各种需求都非常响应和耐心解答。大堂的工作人员也很热情周到，每次送东西到房间时都很及时，当我提着行李时，他们还会主动上前帮忙。 酒店的服务也非常独特和贴心：每天送热牛奶（助眠），还提供免费接送服务，不仅接送古城，还可以送到机场或高铁站。 附近也有步行十分钟可达的街头美食，味道很棒，性价比也很高。 总之，我会推荐这家酒店给任何想要体验优质服务和热心员工的客人。如果有机会再次来到大理，我一定会选择再次入住这家酒店！

We recently stayed at a hotel right outside the 南门of the Ancient City, and its location couldn't have been more convenient. Given how jammed Dali can get, walking was the best option, and this hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to explore the area on foot. The staff here is simply the best I’ve ever encountered. I had many parcels delivered to the hotel before my arrival, and they not only managed all of them seamlessly but also offered to send out additional parcels on my behalf. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they attended to our requests promptly and always with a smile. Their dedication to going above and beyond was truly impressive. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for food and activities nearby, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views of 苍山 were amazing. We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!

Very good location 5 minutes walk to main area. Very good service by housekeeper xiao hao. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Breakfast, tea time and night dessert is great. Very easy accessible. We enjoyed our time here. They have transport service to pick you up at the main road and also sending you to nearby places. Highly recommended.

The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. The Santorini style, the view in the room is great, unobstructed, and you can see the sunrise and sunset of Erhai Lake in the room in the morning and evening.

Honglongjing Hotel is a treasure hotel with excellent service. The waiter came to pick us up at the parking lot and arranged a relatively large room for us. In particular, there is a rooftop garden overlooking the ancient city of Dali. It is convenient to go to nearby attractions. It is very clean and has racks for drying clothes. The breakfast is not bad. There is a water bar with resident singers at night. Recommended to everyone.

Service: When I consulted the hotel's pick-up service, Miss Zoe at the front desk was very meticulous. In order to give me a more considerate arrangement, she also added my contact information. She patiently helped me arrange the pick-up. When she heard that I wanted to live on a high floor, she directly helped me upgrade the room type. When checking in, the young lady was very serious and helped me arrange the room I liked. After checking in, she took the initiative to contact me and said that I could contact her directly for any needs. The whole process made me feel very warm and cost-effective! Environment: You can see the beautiful sea view while lying on the bed. You can walk downstairs and walk to the edge of Erhai Lake in a few minutes. It feels very comfortable! Facilities: The gym facilities are very complete, which is very friendly for people who love fitness. And parking is convenient. Whether it is to the airport or the train station, it is very close, and it is super convenient to travel. Buffet breakfast: There are a lot of varieties, all kinds of tastes can be satisfied, and start a day full of vitality! This hotel is really excellent in all aspects, recommended to everyone!

The hotel’s service is excellent, providing lots of care and attention. Especially the butler “青柠,” who took very good care of us, ensured our stay was comfortable, and frequently checked on us. She also provided recommendations for places to visit and responded quickly when needed. Even when we were out of the room, she delivered tea break snacks and desserts. After we checked out, she also checked if we had reached our destination safely. Because of her outstanding service, we will definitely come back and stay again. 酒店的服务非常好，提供了很多关怀和服务。特别是管家“青柠”照顾得很周到，确保我们的住宿舒适，不时关心我们的情况。她还为我们推荐了值得去的地方，并在我们需要时迅速回应。即使我们不在房间时，她也会送来茶点和甜点。即使我们退房后，她也会关心我们是否安全到达目的地。因为她的优秀服务，我们肯定会再回来入住。

The hotel is in great location and the room has great view with a very comfortable bathroom layout (very spacious). The only thing is that the staff at check in and check out took our money. We booked 3 rooms in total and we paid in full at check in. Despite payment with credit card, the staff asked each of us to pay extra RMN1000 per room as a deposit in cash. At check out, no damage was found and they returned our deposit but all the 3 rooms only got RMB900 back. The staff could not speak English and even we could speak a little Chinese, the communication and the explanation is not understandable why we were deducted RMB100 per room total of RMB300 on top of the full payment. Other hotels will just block the credit card as deposit which is standard but when I asked if they can just use credit card that we paid to block the deposit, they said it could not be done. Moreover, when we paid RMB3000 deposit for 3 rooms, we counted RMB100 x30 to the staff. The staff took the money to another location saying they had to use the machine to count, then she came back saying there was only RMB2900. I guess she also took another RMB100 from the cash deposit. (Check in time was on April 10 at 10.30pm and check out time was on April 12 at 9.40am)
