Our family had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Hyland. You truly cannot beat the location! Right outside the door is Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly easy to step out for shopping and dining with the family. For quick snacks and essentials, there is a very convenient convenience store right on the other side of the property. Plus, the Metro station is only about two blocks away—a very easy, flat, and walkable distance, even if you are managing bags or traveling with kids.
The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. After a long day of walking around Shanghai, we always appreciated coming back to a room where the air conditioning was nice and cool. The bathroom was fully stocked with a complete set of amenities, so we didn't have to worry about missing any essentials.
The daily breakfast buffet offered a great variety to start the morning. There was a fantastic selection of fresh breads, several coffee machines to keep the parents caffeinated, and an impressive mix of local Chinese cuisine and American classics. Tucked away at the end, you'll find the popular egg station, right next to the meatloaves and hot dim sum plus noodles.
There was even a dedicated Korean station, which was a unique touch.
The breakfast food is delicious, but the menu doesn't vary much from day to day. If you are staying for a week or longer like we did, it can feel a bit repetitive. We wished they would rotate the choices a bit more.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Between the unbeatable location, clean rooms, and extensive breakfast options, it’s a highly recommended, stress-free base for families visiting Shanghai!

Great location, only a 10-minute walk from Shanghai Station, and super convenient for the subway. It's just three stops to Nanjing Road, and perfect for an evening visit to the Bund. The room was spacious, but the downside was the loud traffic noise from the elevated highway at night – a constant rumble. Also, the shower had two unmarked buttons, so when I turned it on, the overhead shower suddenly blasted water, which was a bit of a shock! As for the bedding, some stains might not have come out in the wash, but they clearly changed the linens. Other than that, the service was really good.

The reception team was very friendly and professional, and the room was clean. However, the bathroom was not at the expected level, and there was a lot of noise coming from the neighboring rooms. The room was also very small. In addition, there was disturbing construction and maintenance noise coming from the nearby building.
When I booked the hotel, its rating seemed excellent, but after staying there, I found it to be average rather than excellent.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the service is excellent. It's very convenient for Pudong Airport. The hygiene is also good, and it offers great value for money. The free airport shuttle is a huge plus. Very satisfied! 👍

We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel environment was excellent and relaxing.
What impressed us the most was the thoughtful service. The hotel provides convenient shuttle transfers to and from Disneyland, which made the trip so much easier for families. After returning late from Disneyland at around 11pm, the hotel even prepared a warm bowl of noodles for guests to enjoy — such a caring and heartwarming gesture 😊
The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and they even gave small gifts to the kids, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices for everyone.
Overall, everything from the service, cleanliness, facilities, and hospitality was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Shanghai Disneyland! ❤️

It's been a few years since I last stayed at the Pullman Shanghai South (大众空港) near Pudong Airport. This time, I specifically chose the South Tower, which was rumored to have been recently renovated. However, it turned out to be just a standard hotel with nothing particularly impressive. Its biggest advantage remains its unbeatable location – both T1 and T2 terminals are a mere five-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient for early morning or late-night flights. The value for money is quite low, as it's about three times more expensive than other hotels around the airport. What was truly outrageous was finding a cockroach in the room. The hygiene conditions are concerning, and I hope they improve their pest control measures.

We enjoyed our stay at yitel! It was cleaned everyday and was quite nicely placed. It was a little bit of a walk to the metro but it only took 17 minutes to get to it. The nearest metro is line 4, line 4 goes directly to pearl tower.
The room was not to hot. But the corridor was a bit warm (not so surprising cause if the warm weather). But in general we lived at the hotel for 4 nights and didn’t have anything to complain about.
We even got a lite goodbye gift! It was very nice ❤️
Thank you for letting us stay!

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
Cchw_tThe hotel's location is fantastic. The lobby is on Sichuan Road, but there's also an entrance on Zhongshan East Road, making it super convenient to get to the Bund. After dinner, we relaxed at the hotel and waited for the Bund to be a bit less crowded before heading out for a stroll, which was really pleasant. The hotel's own restaurant is Michelin-starred, with an elegant atmosphere and good quality dishes. The bar is also great for a drink with a view of the Bund. As for the hotel facilities, they are top-notch, as expected from a hotel of this caliber. Overall, it was a very good experience.
GGuest UserThis Bund hotel stay was absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk to the riverside, and my room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a perfect view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' – I could watch the Oriental Pearl Tower light up at night right from my bed. The smart toilet and automatic curtains were super convenient, and soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the river view was just heavenly! The freshly baked croissants at breakfast were so good they were practically addictive. The rooftop bar had incredible night views, and the cocktails created a fantastic ambiance. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room and sent welcome fruits, and the robot delivering food was adorable. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Plus, free laundry and drying service was such a thoughtful touch! The location is unbeatable – Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside. For around 400+ RMB per person, it felt like a thousand-yuan experience. As a detail-oriented person, I was completely won over. I'm definitely booking this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!
TThe Lonely TravellerMight I say, our entire stay at the W was marvelous from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were greeted and helped with our luggage straight yo our room. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. She even offered to upgrade us to a room with a better view seeing that we were celebrating and visiting Shanghai for the first time. Each staff seemed to acknowledge our existence all throughout the hotel. This made us feel like extremely important people.
Our room was absolutely stunning and oh my was the view ever so perfect. Room service was excellent. Their burger was probably the most delicious. We visited amd stayed in many hotels around China and this one definitely left some beautiful memories.
We would highly recommend staying here if ever visiting Shanghai. Every penny spent was worth it.
GGuest UserTerrible. Will not stay again. The check-in SOP was unclear, forcing guests to ask multiple questions, even for basic information like breakfast times and location. The room smelled of smoke, possibly due to old or poorly maintained air conditioning. The front desk staff denied there was a smoke smell and only after repeated requests did they show me other rooms, about half of which also smelled of smoke. Their service attitude was both arrogant and perfunctory. The operational procedures were also a mess; for example, after checking in, I found the room didn't even have a kettle and called to request one. Ten minutes later, housekeeping knocked on the door, saying they needed to replace the in-room magazine. It was bizarre to replace a monthly magazine after check-in. The kettle that was eventually delivered was wet inside and out, with a strong disinfectant smell inside. The ice bucket in the room also had water and already smelled foul when opened. The hotel management is riddled with loopholes everywhere; quality is in the details. The hard furnishings like the toilet and bathtub in the room were old, the shower handle was broken, and the water pressure was worse than a 3 or 4-star hotel. The linens were average. However, the bedding and mattress were good.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus!
However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices.
Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort.
On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.
GGuest UserThe overall environment is excellent, and the location is convenient for both getting around and dining. The room's cleanliness is impeccable, spotless and neatly arranged. The guest room is spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The soundproofing is outstanding, blocking out external noise for a superb sleep quality. The free parking is a thoughtful touch, making it a top choice for travelers with cars. The front desk staff's service attitude is wonderful, efficient, and attentive, making the entire check-in process pleasant and hassle-free.
GGuest UserI genuinely recommend this hotel! The overall environment is quiet and elegant, the room has excellent natural light, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Toiletries are well-stocked. The staff are gentle and polite, and they respond promptly to requests. The location is superb, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The facilities are comprehensive, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. It was a perfect experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, located near Shanghai Railway Station. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early and upgraded my room. Although there was a language barrier, they were very helpful and used a translation app to communicate with me. The hotel also has free facilities such as a kids’ playroom, gym, and laundry room.
EELI1363We had a great stay at this cozy and friendly hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and our room was nice and clean — they even left us some fruit as a welcome gesture. The breakfast was good, and there was also a coffee machine in the lobby, which was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
