I booked this hotel for my dad, and he said it was great value for money and had an excellent location. The service was also very attentive. When he first checked in, he noticed the shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty. He reported it, and new ones were delivered quickly. The airport transfer service was fantastic; it only took about 20 minutes to get to the airport.

Our original check-in time was 3:00 PM, but we arrived around 7:30 AM. We were just planning to drop off our luggage and head out, but to our surprise, the friendly staff at the front desk immediately asked his colleague if any rooms were ready. He also asked if we had eaten breakfast and promptly arranged for us to go to the buffet. The breakfast spread was incredibly diverse. By the time we finished eating and came back, the front desk attendant had already completed our check-in. This is my first time traveling where I've been able to check in half a day early, and even get a complimentary breakfast before checking in – I was so touched! And for such a great price, with breakfast included, it's really incredible value for money, especially in a city like Shanghai.

The front desk service was warm, thoughtful, and meticulous. It's close to Airport Terminal 2, just a five-minute walk, and dining is convenient with restaurants inside the airport. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, and earplugs were provided.

This is the second Vienna Hotel I've stayed at near Pudong Airport, as I had an early flight the next day. The decor is quite new, and the front desk service was excellent. They proactively registered me for the next day's shuttle in advance, and since I'd miss breakfast, the hotel provided a breakfast bag. The room's decor leans towards a 'Ji Hotel' style, which I quite like. The room size was appropriate, and the bedding and towels were relatively new. During my one-night stay, I didn't encounter any noise or other issues. There are many dining options nearby, so I ordered takeout since it was cold outside. A robot delivered it to my room. For the 6:00 AM shuttle the next day, I needed to check out and be downstairs 10 minutes prior. The shuttle is a proper mini-bus, with seating upstairs and luggage storage downstairs – clean and comfortable. The driver was also very professional and helpful with luggage.

The hotel service is general thoughtful. We asked for medicated oil as my mum was not feeling well, but there wasn't one available. Instead of just saying no, the customer service offered to send us oil essence that would help to improve headaches and stress. And this really helped my mum to feel and sleep better. F&B service staff at Elements and Chinese restaurant were attentive and competent. Generally, we did enjoy our stay in this hotel. Pillows are comfortable and housekeeping always did a thorough job everyday. Views from our rooms are nice and we could see the light up at 6pm everyday. Check-in service could be improved. We had never been kept waiting to check-in before as every hotel we went to made sure the guests don't wait for too long. After waiting in the line for 30mins, I observed that the front desk needs to input alot of information for each guest. Maybe more efficient system and better process flow would help the staff and have less customers complaining. Everyone around was were dismayed by the waiting time. Note that whenever travellers arrive to check in, most are tired and burdened with baggage and want to settle down as soon as possible. Last thing we want is to queue for a long time to check in. Having mentioned that, I would like to give credit to the front desk staff. Despite the pressure from the sounds of grumpy guests waiting in the line, they still handled each guest professionally and attending to all the enquiries patiently. This is not easy. Also, your porter service could be improved also. There are more people standing at the concierge counter indoors, and usually only 1 outside. Which is something I don't understand. During our 4-day stay here, no one helped us at all. Even when we checked out, it was our driver who helped us with our bags. The bell boy chose to help another car who was checking in. Usually we tip bell boy but we had no chance to tip at all here. The corridor to the rooms are mostly carpeted so it is really difficult to drag our luggage. The lifts are spread out along two long rows and I have seen a lady dragging her luggage from one lift to the next lift, and then to the next one cursing because she could not reach each lift in time before the door closed. We felt tired too through our stay here, turning 360 degrees to look out for lift doors opening. We do recommend the hotel for a guaranteed comfortable stay here as it is near to many major shopping malls and attractions and restaurants.

We ended up having all three meals here every day! It was a perfect place to relax during our vacation, complete with a swimming pool and fitness center. My only slight regret is not being able to book a room with the 'three-piece suite' setup. I hope I can reserve one next time I visit!

I stayed near Pudong Airport specifically for the airport shuttle service. The shuttle stops are conveniently located right outside the departure level and run reliably every hour. It's great for both pick-up and drop-off, and also perfect for overnight layovers. The shower has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. While the decor is a bit dated, it offers great value for money. All the essentials are provided, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable slippers, shower slippers, a comb, tissues, and towels. The air conditioning is newly installed and heats up quickly. This room type even comes with a balcony, offering an expansive view and quick air circulation.

We were upgraded to a river view room for free, and my little one was thrilled to see the Oriental Pearl Tower right from our window! It's a 10-minute walk to the sightseeing boat pier, and there's a shopping mall downstairs with all sorts of dining and shopping options. A special shout-out for the complimentary extra bed for kids – that was a fantastic touch! The experience was superb. There's also a lovely, quiet riverside promenade perfect for a stroll with beautiful scenery.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow! **Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs. **Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow! **Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room. **Cleanliness:** Relatively clean. **Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly. **Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us. **Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

The staff kindly upgraded our reservation and made every effort to secure connecting rooms for our family—making our stay seamless and stress-free.
