The hotel is close to Jinshanling Great Wall entrance so it's very convenient to stay one night and be able to see sunset and sunrise on the great Wall. Obviously there are not many connections with Beijing, just a bus running on weekends. The closest station is Gubeikou, about 30km away. They offered us a taxi but it was too expensive. Better to use didi app on your own. They have a restaurant inside the hotel so you can have lunch or dinner there. The room was comfortable and clean with all toiletries and a balcony.

What a lovely gem of a hotel! I was reluctantly (very reluctantly) persuaded to leave Beijing for the weekend and head for the nesrest beach - Qinhuangdao. The Bullet Train was great fun - we splashed out on first-class tickets and had the first-class cabin all to ourselves. Qinhuangdao was a welcome change of pace from the self-important hussle of Beijing. The bad things first - the weather was terrible and the beach itself is more 1970s Blackpool than present-day Antibes. But the Hampton by Hilton was a delightful surprise. The staff are absolutely delightful. Although they don’t speak English, the use of a few translation apps soon explained to them what we needed and they always did their best to look after us. The rooms are great - we even got a free upgrade to a suite. The breakfast options are many and varied. We were the only Western guests that weekend and the other guests seemed to be Chinese middle-class families. If I had to guess I would say they tended to be from other parts of China as they didn’t seem to be the usual rude impatient Beijingers. It was lovely to see Al the little children having fun with their parents. So, our thanks to the ladies at Reception, the young concierge guys, the housekeepers and the busy breakfast staff. The owners of the this hotel is blessed with great staff. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

The staff are nice and very approachable They are wonderful and helpful. Check - in and check out were hassle free. In terms of the location, it may not be at the centre of commercial area (McDonald's wont deliver there) but it is just across the Handan East Railway Station so it is good. The facilities are better than expected. Breakfast maybe is amazing for Chinese but for non- Chinese, the choices are limited. In general, it is a good hotel and I highly recommend it specially for those who needs to travel via Railway.

清明臨時決定過來住的這個酒店，沒想到超出預期的好，當時想住可以看見浮屠河的房間，但是那個房型沒有了，能看到河的是主樓（高樓層這邊），我們本次入住的是帶悦庭的房型，是主樓對面的2層小樓，這邊環境雖然很好，晚上安靜的可怕，可能是隔音做的也很好，再加上比較空曠走廊裏看不見人，比較適合喜歡安靜的小夥伴入住這樣的房間。 泳池和用餐都在主樓，所以住悦庭的房型就不太方便，要走很遠才能到，或者在地下停車場開車過去，幾個樓的地下停車場都連着也還算方便。

This hotel is the most beautiful in Shijiazhuang. The landscape is beautiful and the interior is very aesthetic. The room is very spacious with high ceilings and it is extremely beautiful. It has all the essential equipment for a great workout. The hotel advertised having western and Chinese breakfast however as a foreigner the western selection is basically just bacon and some different types of bread (croissant, danish etc). The breakfast was also extremely cold for the 5 days we had it. Also there was only 1 restaurant (a la carte) open during our stay so we had to find our lunch and dinner outside of the hotel. This was extremely difficult as there aren’t many food options in this area. This was the only thing we didn’t like.

This time I came to Shijiazhuang, I chose Ximei Hotel to stay. The room was clean and sanitary, and the mattress was moderately soft and hard. I stayed at a nice local hotel conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Fulong Snow Park. While my room was slightly dirty, it wasn't enough for me to raise a complaint; it felt as though the cleaner might have been in a hurry. I attempted to order room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, but I found it lacking compared to other hotel breakfasts I've experienced. One downside was that there was no way to book tickets for the snow park directly through the hotel. Perhaps there was a method, but it wasn't available in English. At Fulong Snow Park, I encountered difficulties as the English-speaking window had no staff who could assist in English. It was quite challenging to navigate everything. Fortunately, I managed to find an English-speaking ski instructor named Alex, who I highly recommend. Although this is unrelated to the hotel, I felt it was worth mentioning!

I went to have breakfast this morning and had some mutton offal, but there was sand in it. I asked the chef and he said it was not cleaned well. The service was OK. It was not there before.
