The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

We arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

This beautiful boutique was our little heaven and refuge for us during our roadtrip through China. What made our stay outstanding was the wonderful welcome and the invaluable help we got from Suzy, our English speaking host and one of the supervisors. Her English is amazing and she sorted out all our problems and fulfilled all our wishes we had. Rarely had such an excellent support , she made our stay in Lanzhou one we will remember 🙏 Apart from this the hotel is brand new, beautifully designed (we loved the smell in the lobby!!) and had really everything we needed (an amazing laundry room too !!). I was really warmed. I went to Qicai Danxia after checking in. It was already 9 o'clock in the evening when I came back. When I entered the room, I was given fruit, yogurt and snacks... My parents-in-law stayed in another room. It was my father-in-law's birthday, so the hotel ordered a cake and put it in the room. I can't praise Qiao Hongli and the family enough for their welcome and support. The lady of the house walked me to the West Gate entrance to the Rainbow Mountains. The hotel then organised tickets to 2 night shows and the Binggou Danxia. Perhaps the highlight was a tour of the Extraterrestrial Canyon, which Hongli took me on. He took concern for my aged knees! The many kindnesses which Hongli and his family showed to me made it a wonderful 3 day trip. Xiexie.

On the second day of my stay, I encountered sandstorms and the hotel staff helped me wash my car. I took my children to visit the Dunhuang Museum, Crescent Lake, and rode a camel. The experience was very good. The Shazhou Night Market is also very good.

The hotel is close to Zhangye West Station and is located at one end of the small square in front of the station. It is within walking distance but very quiet. Parking is free. The room is spacious and bright, with a separate washbasin, shower room and toilet. Strategically located to stage to places of interest: like Dunhuang spring crescent n also Mogao Grottoes. Within 20minutes. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton hotel, it truly exceeded all expectations in terms of customer service and facilities. Facilities: This hotel should have been built not long ago, and the facilities are very new and nice. And there are some small and clever items in the room, such as humidifiers and pillows with different functions, which make me feel comfortable. Environment: The hotel is beautifully decorated, I like it. When I checked in, it was just after Christmas, and there seemed to be some cute Christmas decorations outside the hotel. Service: I think the hotel staff are very enthusiastic. They actively helped me solve some travel problems, from how to take the bus to the center of Lanzhou to finding a delicious beef noodle restaurant near the hotel. They answered my questions seriously. The two staff members who impressed me were Xiao Teng at the front desk and Xiao Wang at the concierge. They were both very enthusiastic and attentive. Love the room design and grateful for the free treats. The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

I stayed one night in the hotel. The hotel located in the heart of one of the old street in Lanzhou. It’s very convenient to use subway or didi around. It costs less than 20 yuan to take a taxi from the hotel to Lanzhou West Station, and it is not far from Gansu Museum, about 10 yuan. It is not recommended to walk to Ganbo, which takes about 25 minutes. The hotel is relatively private. The hotel is located on a high platform next to the auxiliary road under the elevated road. The Yellow River is a few dozen meters behind the hotel along the roadside. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel. There is a small private hospital on the left and a convenience store on the right. Further to the right is a residential area blocked by a wall. You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

The hotel is listed as a four-star hotel. The hardware is a bit simple and the elevator is a bit slow, but the hygiene is good, the linens are up to standard, and the shower water volume is particularly large. Breakfast was also ok. The decoration still has a bit of smell. My companions are quite sensitive and felt discomfort in their eyes and throats.
