Exceptional customer service! Never fail to disappoint Millennium Hotel Group, The in house Chinese Restaurant was exquisite and authentic food. Loved the goose and the oysters egg. Housekeeping was prompt and very clean. We were especially impressed by friendly Stella and Gary for their excellent and meticulous recommendations of sightseeing and food etc. Always ready to take their time to explain in details every queries we had. Saved us a whole lot of research and headaches, we overall had an enjoyable and unforgettable stay in Xiamen! Kudos to your service staff! Hotel is at a great location right next to Zhong Shan Rd Pedestrian Shopping street… lots of great restaurants and shopping very pleasant safe experience with lots of security guards around. Just eat at places with price menu and shop at places with fixed prices, you will go no wrong!

Check in time supposed to be 3pm and I requested the room not to be near the lift or the last room. But by 3pm, the room is not ready although I had register the check in at 1pm. By 3.20pm, the got me a room that is right beside the lift (ignore my request which I had reminded them twice). Order for room service and told the front desk to clear it out around 6pm when I went out. But the dirty plates and leftover food is still there when I return to the room around 11pm Staff at the front desk is not attentive and the staff said will get the manager to contact me regarding the missing food for the room service but there’s no one contact me since 30 October Location wise is good, room is clean but service wise nah

Amazing facilities , they build this place with touch of warm heart , serve with love and hosted with generosity. I should say this is a boutique hotel quality. I was a female solo traveler that never been to china before and doesn’t speak the local language and I was so blessed that I booked this place , the owner Lily is speaking good english and she is go above and beyond to help n accommodate my stay beautifully . She help with my itinerary and she even being my go to call when I need help with translate. The sisters ( that is the receptionist ladies ) is also eager to please with anything that we need, truly there is no other place to stay is better in the area if you are looking for a great place to stay , served with warm heart and many upgraded for free. I am definitely suggest this place when you are visiting wuyishan. Thank you dear beautiful ladies team of Dafangju 🫶🏻❤️👏🏻

I was worried that the accommodation near the Drum Tower would be bad, but it turned out to be so good. When I got off the bus and saw the building next door, I thought it was the B&B I booked, but I was surprised. It is also convenient to eat here. You can order the food in advance and eat it at the time, because all three meals are done in the B&B. I didn't expect the ingredients to be fresh. I will definitely come here again and stay a few more days next winter.

The room is standard. The service attitude is terrible. The air conditioner doesn't heat. I caught a cold after sleeping all night and had diarrhea all day. The air conditioner technician who came to repair it was not professional. I urged him twice before he came. The room manager said he would call me back. It's been 2 days, but I haven't received a call yet.

The reception auntie was very good (we didn't bring a power bank, so the auntie directly brought one to our room and replaced it at any time if it ran out of power). It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

When I write a review, I always put in perspective the price I can paying for and it's competitiness in the country. 1. Cleanliness is good. Housekeeper is friendly and accommodating. 2. Hail a car from airport to hotel cost about Sgd5 and less than Sgd5 from hotel to airport for me. Actual will depend on your App and cars you pick. 3. Hotel location is impeccable with the starting point of Zhongshan Road right below the Hotel. 4. Staff is helpful and friendly. 5. Breakfast is decent for the price. The range is not extensive, but one has to look at the price you are paying for. Coffee maker at Libby makes freshly brewed coffee. 6. There is a little gym for simple workout. Overall, it is a satisfactory experience and I have no complaints. (I would like to upload for photos, but my family's faces would appear... :))
